Air minum isi ulang banyak dipilih karena lebih terjangkau dibanding air kemasan, namun kualitasnya tidak selalu aman tanpa pengawasan rutin. penelitian ini bertujuan menilai kualitas air minum isi ulang di kecamatan syiah kuala berdasarkan parameter ph, timbal (pb), kekeruhan, total padatan terlarut, dan escherichia coli, serta membandingkannya dengan baku mutu permenkes no. 2 tahun 2023. lima depot dipilih dari total 43 menggunakan metode purposive sampling. sebanyak 15 sampel diuji di laboratorium. hasil menunjukkan ph (6,98–7,34), kekeruhan (0,049–1,240 ntu), dan tds (9–110 mg/l) masih dalam batas aman. namun, seluruh sampel melebihi ambang batas pb (≥0,01 mg/l), dan 4 dari 15 sampel (27%) positif escherichia coli. depot 3 stabil secara fisik dan mikrobiologis, tingginya pb membuatnya tidak layak konsumsi. penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk mengevaluasi perilaku pengelola depot melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan indikator pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik (psp). kata kunci: air minum isi ulang, kualitas air, timbal, escherichia coli.

Abstract
Refill drinking water is widely chosen due to its affordability, yet its quality may be unsafe without regular monitoring. This study aimed to assess the quality of refill drinking water in Syiah Kuala based on pH, lead (Pb), turbidity, total dissolved solids, and Escherichia coli, and compare the results to the standards in Regulation No. 2 of 2023. Five depots were selected from 43 using purposive sampling. A total of 15 samples were tested. Results showed pH (6.98–7.34), turbidity (0.049–1.240 NTU), and TDS (9–110 mg/L) were within safe limits. However, all samples exceeded Pb limits (≥0.01 mg/L), and 4 of 15 samples (27%) contained Escherichia coli. Depot 3 had stable physical and microbiological values, its high Pb level made it unsuitable for direct consumption. Further research is suggested to evaluate depot management behavior through a quantitative approach using Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) indicators.
