Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh soft skill dan pengalaman magang terhadap kesiapan kerja yang dimediasi oleh motivasi kerja pada mahasiswa fakultas ekonomi dan bisnis universitas syiah kuala. pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 100 responden, serta penggunaan metode proportionate stratified random sampling. teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu structural equation modeling analysis of moment structure (sem amos). hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa soft skill berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, kemudian pengalaman magang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja. selanjutnya soft skill berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, pengalaman magang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja. dan motivasi kerja memediasi secara parsial antara soft skill dan kesiapan kerja dan juga motivasi kerja memediasi secara parsial antara pengalaman magang dan kesiapan kerja.



Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Soft Skills and Internship Experience on Job Readiness, mediated by Work Motivation among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Syiah Kuala University. This study used quantitative research with a population of 100 respondents and a proportionate stratified random sampling method. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling Analysis of Moment Structure (SEM AMOS). The results showed that Soft Skills significantly influenced Job Readiness, followed by Internship Experience significantly influencing Job Readiness. Furthermore, Soft Skills significantly influenced Work Motivation, Internship Experience significantly influenced Work Motivation, and Work Motivation significantly influenced Job Readiness. And Work Motivation partially mediates between Soft Skill and Job Readiness and also Work Motivation partially mediates between Internship Experience and Job Readiness
