Prarancangan pabrik garam industri ini menggunakan air laut sebagai bahan baku yang diperoleh dari laut jawa. proses produksi secara keseluruhan menggunakan proses kontinyu dengan melalui proses pemurnian air laut, evaporasi, kristalisasi, dan pengeringan. kapasitas produksi pabrik garam industri ini adalah 360.000 ton/tahun dengan hari kerja 330 hari/tahun. bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan adalah perseroan terbatas (pt) dengan menggunakan metode struktur garis dan staf. kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 146 orang. lokasi pabrik direncanakan didirikan di kecamatan sampang, kabupaten sampang, provinsi jawa timur. dengan luas tanah 138.000 m2. kebutuhan air utilitas pada pabrik ini digunakan air permeat dari proses membran reverse osmosis. hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: 1. fixed capital investment (fci) = rp 3.362.989.856.700 2. working capital investment (wci) = rp 89.229.419.357 3. total capital investment (tci) = rp 3.452.219.276.057 4. total production cost (tpc) = rp 1.070.753.032.286 5. selling price (sp) = rp 2.689.829.105.320 6. laba bersih = rp 1.269.899.336.966 7. rate of return (ror) = 36,79% 8. pay out time (pot) = 3,8 tahun 9. break event point (bep) = 40,24% berdasarkan studi kelayakan teknis dan ekonomis di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa prarancangan pabrik garam industri ini layak untuk dilanjutkan ke tahap rancangan.



Abstract

This preliminary design of an industrial salt plant utilizes seawater sourced from the Java Sea as its raw material. The overall production process operates continuously and includes seawater purification, evaporation, crystallization, and drying stages. The planned production capacity of the plant is 360,000 tons per year, operating for 330 working days annually. The proposed business structure is a Limited Liability Company (PT), employing a line and staff organizational model. The plant will require a workforce of 146 employees. The designated site for the plant is located in Sampang District, Sampang Regency, East Java Province, with a total land area of 138.000 m². Utility water requirements will be fulfilled using permeate water from the Reverse osmosis membrane process. The results of the economic analysis are as follows: 1. Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp 3.362.989.856.700 2. Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp 89.229.419.357 3. Total capital investment (TCI) = Rp 3.452.219.276.057 4. Total production cost (TPC) = Rp 1.070.753.032.286 5. Selling Price (SP) = Rp 2.689.829.105.320 6. Net Profit = Rp 1.269.899.336.966 7. Rate of return (ROR) = 36,79% 8. Pay out time (POT) = 3,8 years 9. Break Even Point (BEP) = 40,24% Based on the technical and economic feasibility study, it can be concluded that the preliminary design of this industrial salt plant is feasible to proceed to the planning stage.
