Moda transportasi yang menghubungkan kabupaten simeulue dengan wilayah aceh lainnya, yaitu kapal feri, kapal perintis, dan pesawat. pemilihan moda transportasi merupakan keputusan relatif penting bagi aparatur sipil negara (asn) yang akan melakukan perjalanan dari kabupaten simeulue ke kota banda aceh. hal ini terkait efisiensi waktu, biaya perjalanan, kenyamanan dan keamanan, serta kemudahan dalam mengakses moda transportasi yang tersedia. oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan moda transportasi oleh asn dengan menggunakan metode analytical hierarchy process (ahp). metode ini digunakan untuk menentukan bobot kepentingan dari berbagai kriteria, seperti biaya, waktu perjalanan, kenyamanan, keamanan, dan kehandalan moda transportasi. data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada asn yang sering melakukan perjalanan dinas atau pribadi. hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor waktu perjalanan memiliki bobot tertinggi dalam pemilihan moda transportasi, dengan persentase sebesar 22,48%, diikuti oleh biaya 21,12%, keamanan sebesar 20,53%, kenyamanan sebesar 19,23%, dan kehandalan 16,68%. moda transportasi udara menjadi pilihan utama bagi asn sebesar 57,51%, sementara kapal perintis memiliki persentase 23,78% dan kapal feri sebesar 18,72%. temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi pemerintah daerah dalam meningkatkan sistem transportasi yang lebih efisien dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan asn. kata kunci : analytical hierarchy process, aparatur sipil negara, pemilihan moda.

The modes of transportation that connect Simeulue Regency with other regions of Aceh are ferry boats, pioneer ships, and airplanes.The selection of transportation mode is a relatively important decision for Civil Servants (ASN) who are planning to travel from Simeulue Regency to Banda Aceh City. This decision relates to time efficiency, travel costs, comfort and safety, as well as the ease of accessing available transportation modes. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors influencing the choice of transportation mode by civil servants using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This method is used to determine the weight of importance for various criteria, such as cost, travel time, comfort, safety, and reliability of transportation modes. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to civil servants who frequently travel for official or personal purposes. The analysis results show that travel time is the most significant factor in choosing a transportation mode, with a weight of 22.48%, followed by cost at 21.12%, safety at 20.53%, comfort at 19.23%, and reliability at 16.68%. Air transportation is the primary choice for civil servants at 57.51%, while pioneer ships account for 23.78%, and ferries for 18.72%. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for local governments in improving a more efficient transportation system that aligns with the needs of civil servants.
