Pressure vessel merupakan komponen penting dalam industri petrokimia yang rentan mengalami degradasi akibat korosi dan erosi selama masa operasionalnya. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sisa umur (remaining life) dari pressure vessel 52-fa-163 yang beroperasi di area urea 1 pt pupuk iskandar muda dengan menggunakan metode non-destructive examination (nde), khususnya ultrasonic thickness testing. pengambilan data dilakukan pada tiga bagian utama: top head, shell, dan bottom head, dengan pengukuran di 4 zona arah berbeda. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laju korosi tertinggi terdapat pada bagian bottom head zona c sebesar 0,0298 mm/tahun, namun masih dalam kategori "excellent" menurut klasifikasi ketahanan material. perhitungan remaining life menunjukkan bahwa pressure vessel masih memiliki umur operasional yang panjang, dengan nilai terendah sebesar 126,69 tahun. dibandingkan dengan perhitungan jangka pendek (short term), laju korosi jangka panjang (long term) lebih tinggi karena mencerminkan kondisi aktual selama masa operasional penuh. analisis juga dilakukan terhadap batas tekanan kerja maksimal berdasarkan ketebalan aktual (tmawp) sesuai standar api 510 dan asme section viii. hasil analisis tmawp menunjukkan bahwa tmawp terendah ditemukan di area shell pada zona c, dengan nilai 11,210 kg/cm2. oleh karena itu, tekanan internal perlu dikurangi dari tekanan desain awal yaitu sebesar 15 kg/cm2.

Abstract
Pressure vessels are an important component in the petrochemical industry that is prone to degradation due to corrosion and erosion during its operational life. This research aims to analyze the remaining life (remaining life) of Pressure Vessel 52-FA-163 operating in the Urea 1 area of PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda using non-destructive examination (NDE) methods, especially ultrasonic thickness testing. Data capture was carried out in three main sections: top head, shell and bottom head, with measurements in 4 different direction zones. The results showed that the highest corrosion rate was found in the bottom head of zone C at 0.0298 mm/year, but still in the "excellent" category according to the material resistance classification. Remaining life calculations show that pressure vessels still have a long operational life, with the lowest value being 126.69 years. Compared to short-term (short term) calculations, the long-term corrosion rate (long term) is higher because it reflects actual conditions during the full operational period. An analysis was also made of the maximum working pressure limit based on actual thickness (tMAWP) according to API 510 and ASME Section VIII standards. The results of the tMAWP analysis showed that the lowest tMAWP was found in the shell area in zone C, with a value of 11.210 kg/cm2. Therefore, the internal pressure needs to be reduced from the initial design pressure of 15 kg/cm2.
