[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dr. muhibbuddin, m.s., dan nazar muhammad, s.pd., m.pd. kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad ke-21 yang penting untuk dikembangkan, khususnya dalam memahami konsep biologi yang bersifat kompleks seperti sistem reproduksi manusia. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model project based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen berupa pre-test post-test control group design. populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 159 peserta didik, dengan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 67 peserta didik kelas xi sman 7 tanjungbalai yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen berjumlah 33 peserta didik dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 34 peserta didik. instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi dan soal pilihan ganda. analisis data dilakukan melalui uji n-gain, uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. rata-rata skor kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di kelas eksperimen mencapai 76,67 (kategori sangat tinggi), sedangkan kelas kontrol 69,65 (kategori tinggi). rata-rata n-gain hasil belajar di kelas eksperimen sebesar 71,88 (kategori tinggi) dan di kelas kontrol 59,64 (kategori sedang). hasil uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (p < 0,05) antara kedua kelas pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif maupun hasil belajar. disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia di sman 7 tanjungbalai. kata kunci: project based learning, berpikir kreatif, hasil belajar, sistem reproduksi manusia.

[Undergraduate Thesis. Universitas Syiah Kuala]. Under direction of Dr. Muhibbuddin, M.S., and Nazar Muhammad, S.Pd., M.Pd. Creative thinking skills are one of the essential 21st-century competencies that need to be developed, especially in understanding complex biological concepts such as the human reproductive system. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in enhancing students’ creative thinking skills and learning outcomes on the topic of the human reproductive system. The research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental design in the form of a Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. The population consisted of 159 students, with a sample of 67 eleventh-grade students from SMAN 7 Tanjungbalai selected through purposive sampling. The sample included two classes: 33 students in the experimental class and 34 in the control class. The instruments used were observation sheets and multiple-choice questions. Data were analyzed using N-Gain analysis, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed a significant improvement in both creative thinking skills and learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average creative thinking score in the experimental class was 76.67 (very high category), while the control class scored 69.65 (high category). The average N-Gain of learning outcomes in the experimental class was 71.88 (high category), compared to 59.64 (moderate category) in the control class. The t-test results indicated a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the two classes in both creative thinking skills and learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model can enhance students’ creative thinking skills and learning outcomes on the topic of the human reproductive system at SMAN 7 Tanjungbalai.
