[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dr. andi ulfa tenri pada, s.pd., m.pd, dan dewi andayani, s.pd., m.pd. persepsi atau tanggapan adalah proses mental yang terjadi pada diri manusia yang akan menunjukkan bagaimana melihat, mendengar, merasakan, memberi, serta meraba (kerja indra) disekitar. pembelajaran biologi merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran praktikum yang dapat di kombinasi dengan dengan pembelajaran metode project based learning (pjbl). tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi terhadap praktikum berbasis project based learning (pjbl) pada mata kuliah botani cryptogamae di fkip universitas syiah kuala. penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualititatif dengan teknik survei. metode yang digunakan adalah survey dengan fasilitas google form dan penentuan sampel yaitu total sampling. parameter yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu persepsi mahasiswa. instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang berupa pertanyaan sudah ditentukan variasi jawaban dengan 5 kriteria (setuju-sangat tidak setuju) dengan nilai interval 1-5. pengumpulan data menggunakan pendekatan statistik dengan metode kualitatif. data analisis menggunakan pengujian persepsi mahasiswa dilakukan dengan perhitungan ratarata skor masing-masing item pertanyaan kuesioner berdasarkan kategori skor pada instrumen responden atau informan yang memakai skor kohesivitas. hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi yang telah mengikuti praktikum mata kuliah botani cryptogamae memiliki persepsi yang cukup baik terhadap penerapan metode project-based learning (pjbl) dalam praktikum botani cryptogamae. hal ini mencerminkan bahwa pjbl cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi praktikum yang bersifat kompleks. kata kunci : persepsi, mahasiswa, pjbl, praktikum, botani crytogamae.

Under the guidance of Dr. Andi Ulfa Tenri Pada, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Dewi Andayani, S.Pd., M.Pd. Perception is a mental process that occurs within humans, indicating how they see, hear, feel, give, and touch (the work of the senses) in their surroundings. Biology education is one of the practical subjects that can be combined with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method. The objective of this research is to determine the perceptions of Biology Education students towards PjBL-based practicum in the course of Botany Cryptogamae at FKIP Universitas Syiah Kuala. The research employs a qualitative approach with survey techniques. The method used is a survey facilitated by Google Forms, and the sampling method is total sampling. The parameter used in this study is the students' perception. The research instrument consists of a questionnaire with predetermined variations of answers based on 5 criteria (agree-disagree) with an interval score of 1-5. Data collection utilizes a statistical approach with qualitative methods. Data analysis involves testing the students' perceptions by calculating the average score of each questionnaire item based on the score categories in the respondent or informant's instrument using cohesiveness scores. The analysis results indicate that the perceptions of Biology Education students who have participated in the Botany Cryptogamae practicum show a fairly positive response towards the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method in the Botany Cryptogamae practicum. This reflects that PjBL is quite effective in enhancing student engagement and understanding of complex practicum material. Keywords: Perception, Students, PjBL, Practicum, Crytogamae Botany.
