Persebaran mikroplastik di perairan krueng raya dan lhok seudu sangat berbahaya bagi biota laut terkhususnya ikan teri kering (stolephorus insularis) yang akan masuk ke rantai makanan sehingga memiliki dampak bagi tubuh manusia. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelimpahan mikroplastik pada ikan kering di perairan krueng raya dan lhok seudu serta menganalisis ukuran, bentuk, warna dan jenis polimer. rata-rata kelimpahan mikroplastik yang ditemukan dari 2 lokasi adalah sebesar 5,80 ± 0,29 mps/g. kelimpahan mikroplastik yang paling banyak ditemui adalah di lokasi krueng raya yaitu sebesar 6,15 ± 0,15 mps/g. ukuran mikroplastik

The spread of microplastics in the waters of Krueng Raya and Lhok Seudu is very dangerous for marine biota, especially dried anchovies (Stolephorus insularis) which will enter the food chain and have an impact on the human body. The aim of this research is to determine the abundance of microplastics in dried fish in the waters of Krueng Raya and Lhok Seudu and to analyze the size, shape, color and type of polymer.
