penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan sistem ventilasi alami sebagai strategi desain pasif pada bangunan pendidikan aceh islamic nature school (ains), yang berlokasi di aceh, wilayah beriklim tropis. fokus utama penelitian adalah mengevaluasi efektivitas ventilasi dinding tinggi, bukaan dengan secondary skin, vegetasi peneduh, dan ventilasi silang dengan jendela aktif dalam menciptakan kenyamanan termal di ruang kelas. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa pengukuran suhu, kelembaban relatif, dan kecepatan angin pada enam ruang kelas, serta persepsi kenyamanan pengguna melalui kuesioner. data dianalisis dan dibandingkan dengan standar kenyamanan termal berdasarkan sni 03-6572-2001. hasil pengukuran menunjukkan adanya variasi kondisi termal antar ruang, yang dipengaruhi oleh orientasi bangunan dan penerapan strategi ventilasi. sebagian besar ruang menunjukkan tingkat kenyamanan termal yang mendekati atau sesuai dengan standar. selain itu, teknologi augmented reality (ar) digunakan sebagai media visualisasi 3d interaktif untuk mempermudah pemahaman strategi ventilasi oleh pengguna non-teknis. penggunaan ar mendukung komunikasi desain yang lebih efektif dan edukatif. kata kunci: ventilasi alami, kenyamanan termal, desain pasif, augmented reality, arsitektur berkelanjutan.

Abstract
This study examines the application of natural ventilation systems as a passive design strategy in the educational building of Aceh Islamic Nature School (AINS), located in Aceh, a tropical climate region. The main focus of the research is to evaluate the effectiveness of high wall ventilation, openings with secondary skin, shading vegetation, and cross ventilation with operable windows in creating thermal comfort within classrooms. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection methods including the measurement of air temperature, relative humidity, and wind speed in six classrooms, as well as user comfort perceptions gathered through questionnaires. The data were analyzed and compared to thermal comfort standards based on SNI 03-6572-2001. The measurement results show variations in thermal conditions between rooms, influenced by building orientation and the implementation of ventilation strategies. Most rooms demonstrated thermal comfort levels that were close to or met the standard. Additionally, Augmented Reality (AR) technology was used as an interactive 3D visualization tool to facilitate the understanding of ventilation strategies by non-technical users.
