[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dr. ismail, s.pd., m.pd dan dra. musfiana, mm. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi alih fungsi lahan dan untuk mengetahui kesejahteraan masyarakat pelaku alih fungsi lahan di desa blang krueng, kecamatan baitussalam, aceh besar. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. subjek penelitian ini melibatkan sepuluh orang masyarakat pelaku alih fungsi lahan. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang melatarbelakangi alih fungsi lahan yaitu kebutuhan ekonomi yang kompleks dan beragam. beberapa diantaranya yaitu untuk membangun rumah, faktor usia, biaya pendidikan anak, serta sebagai modal usaha yang mencerminkan keinginan masyarakat untuk bertransformasi dari sektor pertanian ke sektor non-pertanian. kesejahteraan masyarakat pelaku alih fungsi lahan mengalami peningkatan yang terlihat dari transformasi pola pendapatan yang menjadi lebih stabil, perbaikan kondisi tempat tinggal, kemampuan membiayai pendidikan anak, kemudahan akses layanan kesehatan, dan peningkatan akses terhadap teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. meskipun demikian, terdapat perubahan pola konsumsi dimana masyarakat harus membeli beras karena tidak lagi memproduksi sendiri. hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan transisi ekonomi dari sektor pertanian ke non-pertanian yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas hidup pelaku alih fungsi lahan. kata kunci: alih fungsi lahan, kesejahteraan masyarakat, pertanian

This study aims to find out the factors behind land conversion and to find out the welfare of the people who are perpetrators of land conversion in Blang Krueng Village, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this study involved ten people who were perpetrators of land conversion purposes. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the factors behind land conversion are complex and diverse economic needs. Some of them are to build houses, age factors, children's education costs, and as business capital that reflects the community's desire to transform from the agricultural sector to the non-agricultural sector. The welfare of the people who transfer land use has increased, which can be seen from the transformation of income patterns to become more stable, improvements in living conditions, the ability to finance children's education, easier access to health services, and increased access to information and communication technology. However, there is a change in consumption patterns where people have to buy rice because they no longer produce their own. The results of this study illustrate the economic transition from the agricultural sector to non-agricultural which contributes to improving the quality of life of land conversion actors.
