M perakaran serabut. tanaman nilam adalah salah satu komoditas tanaman perkebunan yang tersebar dibeberapa daerah di indonesia. fungsi utama tanaman nilam adalah sebagai bahan baku fiksatif yang berasal dari minyak hasil penyulingan tanaman. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi media tanam dan pupuk n, p, k serta interaksi antara komposisi media tanam dengan dosis pupuk n, p, k terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman nilam. penelitian ini dilaksanakan di nilam innovation park, darussalam, universitas syiah kuala, banda aceh. penelitian ini berlangsung pada bulan desember 2024 hingga maret 2025. rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok pola faktorial 3x4 dengan 3 ulangan. faktor pertama adalah komposisi media tanam yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu tanah (kontrol), tanah kompos (2:1) dan tanah kompos (1:1) dan faktor kedua adalah 4 taraf pupuk n, p, k yaitu n, p, k (kontrol), 0,3 urea + 0,3 sp-36 + 0,23 g kcl tanaman-1 , 0,6 urea + 0,6 sp-36 + 0,46 g kcl tanaman-1 dan 0,9 urea + 0,9 g sp-36 + 0,69 g kcl tanaman-1 . parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, diameter pangkal batang, nilai klorofil, luas daun, bobot berangkasan basah, bobot bobot kering, panjang akar, volume akar dan iklim mikro selama penelitian yang meliputi kelembaban tanah dan suhu tanah. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan komposisi media tanam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang dan diameter pangkal batang umur 4, 6, 8, 10 dan 12 minggu setelah pindah tanam (mspt), jumlah daun umur 2, 4, 6, 10 dan 12 mspt, luas daun, berangkasan basah, bobot kering dan volume akar, berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang akar, namun berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang dan diameter pangkal batang umur 2 mspt serta jumlah klorofil 6 dan 12 mspt. pertumbuhan terbaik terdapat komposisi media tanam tanah : kompos (1:1). perlakuan dosis pupuk n, p, k, berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun 8, 10 dan 12 mspt, berangkasan basah dan bobot kering. berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun 4 dan 6 mspt dan diameter pangkal batang pada 8, 10 dan 12 mspt, namun berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah cabang umur 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 dan 12 mspt, jumlah daun 2 mspt, diameter pangkal batang 2, 4,dan 6 mspt, klorofil 6 dan 12 mspt, luas daun, volume akar dan panjang akar. pertumbuhan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan pupuk dosis 0,6 urea + 0,6 sp-36 + 0,46 kcl g tanaman-1 . tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan komposisi media tanam dan dosis pupuk n, p, k terhadap semua parameter yang diamati.

Abstract
Patchouli plants (Pogostemon cablin Benth.) are a type of shrub with a fibrous root system. Patchouli plants are one of the plantation crop commodities that are spread across several regions in Indonesia. The main function of patchouli plants is as a raw material for fixatives derived from plant oil distillation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the composition of planting media and N, P, K fertilizers and the interaction between the composition of planting media and the dose of N, P, K fertilizers on the growth of patchouli plants. This research was conducted at the Nilam Innovation Park, Darussalam, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. This research took place from December 2024 to March 2025. The research design used was a 3x4 factorial Randomized Block Design with 3 replications. The first factor is the composition of the planting media consisting of 3 levels, namely soil (control), compost soil (2:1) and compost soil (1:1) and the second factor is 4 levels of N, P, K fertilizers, namely N, P, K (control), 0.3 Urea + 0.3 SP-36 + 0.23 g KCl plant-1, 0.6 Urea + 0.6 SP-36 + 0.46 g KCl plant-1 and 0.9 Urea + 0.9 g SP-36 + 0.69 g KCl plant-1. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, diameter of the base of the stem, chlorophyll value, leaf area, wet stem weight, dry weight, root length, root volume and microclimate during the study which included soil moisture and soil temperature. The results of the study showed that the treatment of planting media composition had a very significant effect on plant height, number of branches and diameter of the base of the stem at the age of 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks after transplanting (MSPT), number of leaves at the age of 2, 4, 6, 10 and 12 MSPT, leaf area, wet arbors, dry weight and root volume, had a significant effect on root length, but had no significant effect on plant height, number of branches and diameter of the base of the stem at the age of 2 MSPT and the amount of chlorophyll at 6 and 12 MSPT. The best growth was found in the composition of the soil: compost planting media (1:1). The treatment of N, P, K fertilizer doses had a very significant effect on the number of leaves at 8, 10 and 12 MSPT, wet arbors and dry weight. Significantly affected the number of leaves 4 and 6 MSPT and the diameter of the base of the stem at 8, 10 and 12 MSPT, but did not significantly affect plant height and number of branches at the ages of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 MSPT, number of leaves 2 MSPT, diameter of the base of the stem 2, 4, and 6 MSPT, chlorophyll 6 and 12 MSPT, leaf area, root volume and root length. The best growth was found in the fertilizer treatment with a dose of 0.6 Urea + 0.6 SP-36 + 0.46 KCl g plant-1. There was no interaction between the treatment of planting media composition and the dose of N, P, K fertilizers on all observed parameters.
