Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan kesempatan kerja terhadap tingkat pengangguran di provinsi aceh selama periode 2017 hingga 2023. penelitian ini mengaplikasikan metode regresi data panel dengan pendekatan fixed effect. hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendidikan dan kesempatan kerja secara signifikan mempengaruhi tingkat pengangguran di provinsi aceh. temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan akses pendidikan dan penciptaan lapangan kerja yang lebih luas dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam mengurangi tingkat pengangguran. berdasarkan hasil ini, penelitian merekomendasikan kepada pemerintah daerah untuk memperkuat kebijakan yang mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan serta memperluas kesempatan kerja, khususnya di sektor formal. studi ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam perumusan kebijakan yang bertujuan untuk menurunkan pengangguran dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di aceh. kata kunci: tingkat pendidikan, kesempatan kerja, pengangguran.

This study aims to analyze the effect of education level and employment opportunities on the unemployment rate in Aceh Province during the period 2017 to 2023. This study applies the panel data regression method with Fixed Effect, and Random Effect. The results of the analysis show that both education level and employment opportunities significantly affect the unemployment rate in Aceh Province. This finding indicates increasing access to education and creating and employment opportunities can be effective strategies in reducing the unemployment rate. Based on these results, the study recommends that local governments strengthen policies that support improving the quality of education and expanding employment opportunities, especially in the formal sector. This study is expected to contribute to the formulation of policies aimed at reducing unemployment and improving the welfare of the people in Aceh.
