[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. di bawah bimbingan mislinawati, s.pd.i., m.pd. dan hasniyati, m.pd. penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas v sd negeri 47 banda aceh akibat kurangnya kebiasaan membaca, kesulitan memahami penjelasan guru, rendahnya motivasi, dan ketidakaktifan dalam pembelajaran. untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, metode estafet writing diterapkan agar pembelajaran lebih menarik, menyenangkan, dan berpusat pada siswa. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dengan metode estafet writing dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi kontemporer pada siswa kelas v di sd negeri 47 banda aceh dan (2) mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis puisi kontemporer dengan metode estafet writing pada siswa kelas v di sd negeri 47 banda aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas v sd negeri 47 banda aceh. teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi dan tes unjuk kerja menulis puisi. analisis data menggunakan model miles dan huberman, yang meliputi: (1) reduksi data terhadap hasil observasi berdasarkan indikator keaktifan, perhatian, minat dan motivasi, serta kerja sama, serta hasil tes puisi berdasarkan aspek penilaian judul, isi, diksi, dan gaya bahasa; (2) penyajian data dalam bentuk tabel dan uraian deskriptif; dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran utuh mengenai proses dan hasil pembelajaran yang terjadi di kelas. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran menulis puisi kontemporer dengan metode estafet writing berlangsung dengan melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam setiap tahap pembelajaran. siswa menunjukkan keaktifan, perhatian, minat, motivasi, serta kerja sama dalam menyelesaikan tugas menulis puisi. selain itu, kemampuan menulis puisi kontemporer siswa kelas v sd negeri 47 banda aceh dengan metode estafet writing mendapatkan hasil yang baik sekali. dari enam kelompok yang terlibat, seluruhnya memperoleh nilai dalam kategori "baik sekali (a)". kata kunci: metode estafet writing, kemampuan menulis, puisi

Syiah Kuala University]. Under direction of Mislinawati, S.Pd.I., M.Pd. and Hasniyati, M.Pd. This research was motivated by the low poetry writing skills of class V students at SD Negeri 47 Banda Aceh, which was caused by a lack of reading habits, difficulty in understanding the teacher’s explanations, low motivation, and student inactivity in learning. To overcome this problem, the estafet writing method was implemented to make learning more interesting, fun, and student-centered. This research aims to (1) describe the learning process using the estafet writing method in learning to write contemporary poetry among class V students at SD Negeri 47 Banda Aceh, and (2) describe contemporary poetry writing skills using the estafet writing method among class V students at SD Negeri 47 Banda Aceh. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects are class V students of SD Negeri 47 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques include observation and poetry writing performance test. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which included: (1) data reduction of observation results based on indicators of activeness, attention, interest and motivation, and cooperation, as well as poetry test results based on the assessment aspects of title, content, diction, and language style; (2) data presentation in the form of tables and descriptive descriptions; and (3) conclusion drawing is carried out to obtain a complete picture of the learning process and results that occur in the classroom. The results showed that the learning process of writing contemporary poetry with the estafet writing method took place by actively involving students in every stage of learning. Students showed activeness, attention, interest, motivation, and cooperation in completing the poetry writing task. Moreover, the skills of the students of class V at SD Negeri 47 Banda Aceh in writing contemporary poetry using the estafet writing method showed very good results.
