Universitas syiah kuala merupakan institusi pendidikan tinggi di aceh yang memiliki fasilitas parkir berupa off-street parking dan on-street parking. namun, sejumlah area on-street parking yang tidak diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa masih sering digunakan oleh mereka. karena kebiasaan parkir bebas dan jauhnya lokasi off-street parking dari tujuan mereka, mahasiswa cenderung parkir sembarangan di area terdekat untuk menghemat waktu tempuh. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pemilihan lokasi parkir dan juga mengetahui utilitas serta probabilitas pemilihan parkir antara off-street parking ataupun on-street parking dengan menggunakan model pemilihan diskrit berupa analisis regresi logit biner. pengumpulan data dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung kepada mahasiswa di kawasan universitas syiah kuala dengan teknik revealed preference. uji kelayakan yang dipakai terdiri dari p-value, chi-square, cox & snell r square, dan nagelkerke r square. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kelamin (x1) dan kepemilikan sepeda motor (x4) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada pemilihan lokasi parkir di kawasan universitas syiah kuala. model persamaan utilitas dari off-street parking berupa up= -1,286 (x1 )+2,197 (x4). probabilitas pemilihan lokasi parkir berupa off-street parking sebesar 77,4% dan probabilitas pemilihan lokasi parkir berupa on-street parking sebesar 22,6%. studi ini dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan sarana dan manajemen parkir kampus di masa yang akan datang.

Syiah Kuala University is a higher education institution in Aceh that has parking facilities in the form of off-street parking and on-street parking. However, a number of on-street parking areas that are not designated for students are still often used by them. Due to the habit of free parking and the distance of off-street parking locations from their destinations, students tend to park carelessly in nearby areas to save travel time. This study aims to identify factors that can influence the selection of parking locations and also determine the utility and probability of choosing parking between off-street parking or on-street parking using a discrete choice model in the form of binary logit regression analysis. Data collection by distributing questionnaires directly to students in the Syiah Kuala University area with revealed preference technique. The goodness of fit test used consists of p-value, chi-square, cox & snell R square, and nagelkerke R square. The results showed that gender (X1) and motorcycle ownership (X4) have a significant influence on the selection of parking locations in the Syiah Kuala University area. The utility equation model of off-street parking is Up= -1,286 (X1 )+2,197 (X4). The probability of selecting a parking location in the form of off-street parking is 77.4% and the probability of selecting a parking location in the form of on-street parking is 22.6%. This study can serve as a reference in the development of campus parking facilities and management in the future.
