The effect of carbon costs, waste costs, and carbon taxes on cost of capital in manufacturing sector companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange by : kiki angraini npm : 2201203010009 supervisor : 1. dr. indayani, s.e., m.si., ak 2. dr. ratna mulyany, bacc., msacc abstract this study aims to examine the effect of carbon costs, waste costs, and carbon taxes on the cost of capital in manufacturing sector companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange. the sample in this study was manufacturing sector companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange in 2021-2023. the sample selection technique was carried out using the purposive sampling method totaling 85 companies with a total of 255 observations. the data sources in this study used secondary data, namely annual reports and company sustainability reports accessed on the official website of the indonesia stock exchange and the official websites of each company. while the research data collection technique was carried out using documentation techniques. this study uses structural equation model-partial least square (sem-pls) analysis with smartpls version 4.0. the results of the study obtained from data processing show that carbon cost, waste costs and carbon taxes affect the cost of capital. keywords: capital cost, carbon cost, waste cost, carbon tax

Dr. Ratna Mulyany, BACC., MSACC ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh biaya karbon, biaya limbah, dan pajak karbon terhadap biaya modal pada perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2021-2023. Teknik pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling yang berjumlah 85 perusahaan dengan total 255 observasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yaitu laporan tahunan dan laporan keberlanjutan perusahaan yang di akses pada situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia dan situs resmi masing-masing perusahaan. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Model- Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan SmartPLS versi 4.0. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa biaya karbon, biaya limbah dan pajak karbon berpengaruh terhadap biaya modal.
