Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh locus of control dan machiavellian terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa akuntansi. jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa akuntansi universitas syiah kuala. teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan jumlah responden 205 orang. metode analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan statistical package for the sosial science (spss) untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar variabel yang terlibat. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa locus of control internal dan locus of control eksternal berpengaruh positif terhadap persepsi etis, sedangkan machiavellian berpengaruh negatif terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa akuntansi. kata kunci: locus of control internal, locus of control eksternal, machiavellian dan persepsi etis.

This research aims to examine the influence of locus of control and machiavellian on the perception of ethics of accounting students. This type of research is quantitative research using primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to accounting students at Syiah Kuala University. The sampling technique used random sampling technique with a total of 205 respondents. The data analysis method in this study used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) to determine the influence between the variables involved. The results of this study indicate that Internal Locus of control and External Locus of control have a positive effect on the perception of ethics, while Machiavellian has a negative effect on the perception of ethics of accounting students.
