Aceh tengah memiliki potensi besar dalam industri kopi, khususnya varietas kopi arabika gayo yang telah dikenal secara nasional dan internasional. namun, potensi ini belum sepenuhnya dimaksimalkan baik dari segi kualitas produksi, hilirisasi produk, maupun pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia. oleh karena itu, perancangan coffee technopark di aceh tengah menjadi solusi strategis untuk menyatukan fungsi riset, edukasi, produksi, dan wisata dalam satu kawasan terpadu. perancangan ini bertujuan menciptakan fasilitas yang dapat memfasilitasi penelitian dan pengembangan kopi, pelatihan petani, inkubasi bisnis, hingga wisata edukatif yang berbasis pada kopi. pendekatan yang digunakan adalah arsitektur kontemporer, dengan menerapkan prinsip fleksibilitas, keberlanjutan, serta inovasi desain dan teknologi. dalam proses perancangannya, dilakukan studi literatur, studi banding objek serupa, analisis tapak, dan analisis kebutuhan ruang. zona fungsional kawasan dibagi menjadi area penelitian, produksi, inkubasi, edukasi, dan wisata. dengan adanya coffee technopark diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi kopi gayo, memperkuat ekonomi lokal, serta memperluas jejaring industri kopi baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. kata kunci: coffee technopark, kopi gayo, aceh tengah, arsitektur kontemporer, inkubasi bisnis, wisata edukasi

Abstract

Central Aceh has significant potential in the coffee industry, especially with Gayo Arabica Coffee being well known both nationally and internationally. However, this potential has not been fully optimized in terms of production quality, product diversification, and human resource development. Therefore, the design of Coffee Technopark in Central Aceh emerged as a strategic solution to integrate research, education, production, and tourism functions in one cohesive area. The project aims to create a facility that supports coffee research and development, farmer training, business incubation, and coffee-based educational tourism. The design adopts a contemporary architectural approach, which emphasizes flexibility, sustainability, and innovation in form and technology. The design process involved a literature review, case studies of similar projects, site analysis, and space requirements analysis. The functional zoning of the site includes research areas, production units, business incubation spaces, education areas, and tourism zones. The Coffee Technopark is expected to improve the quality and quantity of Gayo coffee production, strengthen the local economy, and expand the coffee industry network both nationally and internationally.
