This study aimed to determine the effectivity of lemongrass (cymbopogon sp.) oil as a natural anesthetic on tilapia fish (oreochromis niloticus). the method used in this study was an experimental method using a completely randomized design (crd) one direction with 3 treatments and each treatment consisted of 5 replications. all treatment groups (ki, kii, and kiii) were treated with lemongrass oil at the dose of 10, 20, and 30 ml/l water, respectively. observations were carried out on the onset, sedation, and recovery. data were statistically analyzed using anova. the results showed that the time of onset and sedation were significantly different (p
