Ringkasan kabupaten pidie merupakan salah satu sentra penghasil kedelai di provinsi aceh yang memiliki luas panen 919 ha dengan produksi 1, 277 ton. secara geografi kabupaten pidie sangat mendukung untuk budidaya tanaman kedelai. namun potensi itu belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal sehingga sering terjadi naik turun produksi dan produktivitas kedelai. menurunnya tingkat produksi dan produktivitas kedelai dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya kesuburan tanah. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks kesuburan tanah berdasarkan sifat kimia tanah pada areal penanaman kedelai di kabupaten pidie provinsi aceh. penelitian dilakukan pada tiga kecamatan di kabupaten pidie. pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan pada tiga desa disetiap kecamatan. pada kecamatan padang tiji sampel diambil dari desa keupula tanjong, desa pante crug tanjong dan desa glee gogo. selanjutnya di kecamatan batee sampel diambil dari desa alue lada, desa mee dan desa kareung. kecamatan keumala sampel diambil dari desa paloh teungoh, desa cot nuran serta desa kumbang, sehingga totalnya terdapat 9 sampel komposit yang akan di analisis di laboratorium. selanjutnya dilakukan pengolahan data indeks kesuburan tanah, penentuan indeks kesuburan tanah merupakan hasil pembagian jumlah bobot dengan jumlah indikator. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sampel s1, s2, s3 dan s4 berada pada kelas kesuburan sedang, sedangkan sampel s5, s6, s7,s8 dan s9 berada pada kriteria kelas kesuburan rendah. parameter yang menjadi faktor kendala kesuburan pada lokasi penelitian adalah c-organik, n-total dan p-tersedia. parameter ini memegang peran yang sangat penting untuk kualitas tanah dan pertumbuhan tanaman. upaya peningkatan kesuburan tanah yang direkomendasikan diantaranya penggunaan pupuk organik dan pupuk kimia yang tidak berlebihan, pengelolaan tanah yang baik seperti penggunaan sistem irigasi yang efektif agar tanaman tidak kekurangan dan kelebihan air, seta mengembalikan sisa panen ke lahan. kata kunci: indeks kesuburan kimia tanah, sifat kimia tanah, tanaman kedelai



Abstract

SUMMARY Pidie Regency is one of the soybean producing centers in Aceh Province which has a harvest area of ​​919 ha with a production of 1,277 tons. Geographically, Pidie Regency is very supportive for soybean cultivation. However, this potential has not been optimally utilized so that soybean production and productivity often fluctuate. The decline in soybean production and productivity can be caused by several factors, one of which is soil fertility. This study aims to determine the soil fertility index based on the chemical properties of the soil in soybean planting areas in Pidie Regency, Aceh Province. The study was conducted in three sub-districts in Pidie Regency. Soil sampling was carried out in three villages in each sub-district. In Padang Tiji District, samples were taken from Keupula Tanjong Village, Pante Crug Tanjong Village and Glee Gogo Village. Furthermore, in Batee District, samples were taken from Alue Lada Village, Mee Village and Kareung Village. Keumala District samples were taken from Paloh Teungoh Village, Cot Nuran Village and Kumbang Village, so that there were a total of 9 composite samples that would be analyzed in the laboratory. Furthermore, soil fertility index data processing was carried out, the determination of the soil fertility index was the result of dividing the total weight by the number of indicators. The results of this study indicate that samples S1, S2, S3 and S4 are in the medium fertility class, while samples S5, S6, S7, S8 and S9 are in the low fertility class criteria. The parameters that are factors constraining fertility at the research location are C-organic, N-total and P-available. These parameters play a very important role for soil quality and plant growth. Recommended efforts to increase soil fertility include the use of organic and chemical fertilizers that are not excessive, good soil management such as the use of an effective irrigation system so that plants do not lack or have excess water, and returning the remaining harvest to the land.
