Abstrak. kehilangan hasil tanaman kedelai akibat persaingan dengan gulma ditentukan oleh densitas gulma. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh densitas gulma ketul terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai. penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan dan laboratorium pengelolaan gulma fakultas pertanian, universitas syiah kuala, darussalam, banda aceh dari bulan januari 2024-april 2024. penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (ral) pola non-faktorial dengan 6 perlakuan densitas gulma ketul yaitu d0 = 0 tanpa gulma, d1 = 1 gulma per tanaman, d2 = 2 gulma per tanaman, d3 = 3 gulma per tanaman, d4 = 4 gulma per tanaman, d5 = 5 gulma per tanaman. peubah yang diamati meliputi laju tinggi tanaman, bobot berangkasan kering tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, bobot biji per tanaman dan bobot 100 butir. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa densitas gulma ketul berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot berangkasan kering kedelai pada umur 28 dan 42 hst, jumlah biji per tanaman bobot 100 butir. gulma ketul sebanyak 3 sampai 5 gulma per tanaman dapat menurunkan bobot berangkasan kering tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, bobot 100 butir per tanaman, dan bobot biji per tanaman. kata kunci : densitar, gulma, kedelai, persaingan gulma.

Abstract
Abstract. Soybean yield loss due to competition with weeds is determined by weed density. This research aims to determine the effect of ketul weed density on the growth and yield of soybean plants. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden and Weed Management Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam, Banda Aceh from January 2024 - April 2024. This research used a completely randomized design (RAL) with a non-factorial pattern with 6 ketul weed density treatments namely D0 = 0 no weeds, D1 = 1 weed per plant, D2 = 2 weeds per plant, D3 = 3 weeds per plant, D4 = 4 weeds per plants, D5 = 5 weeds per plant. The variables observed included plant height rate, plant dry fruit weight, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, seed weight per plant and weight of 100 grains. The results of the research showed that ketul weed density had a significant effect on the dry fruit weight of soybeans at 28 and 42 HST, the number of seeds per plant weighed 100 grains. 3 to 5 ketul weeds per plant can reduce the dry plant weight, the number of seeds per plant, the weight of 100 grains per plant, and the weight of seeds per plant.
