Abstrak kecemasan merupakan salah satu gangguan kesehatan mental yang sering terjadi pada masa remaja. perbedaan sistem pembelajaran kelas akselerasi dengan kelas reguler memicu tingkat kecemasan yang berbeda, sehingga diperlukan kajian tentang perbedaan tingkat kecemasan siswa akselerasi dengan siswa reguler. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kecemasan siswa kelas akselerasi dengan siswa kelas regular di sma negeri modal bangsa aceh. penelitian ini bersifat analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional yang dilakukan pada responden sebanyak 249 orang, responden ini dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. penelitian ini berlangsung dari bulan juni 2014-juni 2015. perbedaan tingkat kecemasan antara siswa kelas akselersi dengan siswa kelas reguler di sma negeri modal bangsa aceh diukur menggunakan kuesioner dass-anxienty dan dianalisis dengan uji man-whitney ? = 0.05. hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa siswa laki-laki cenderung lebih banyak yang mengalami tingkat kecemasan berat yaitu 17 orang (14,05%) dibandingkan dengan siswa perempuan yaitu sebanyak 14 orang (10,94%). siswa kelas akselerasi cenderung lebih banyak yang mengalami tingkat kecemasan berat yaitu 29 orang (70,70%) dibandingkan dengan siswa kelas reguler yaitu 2 orang (1,00%) yang mengalami tingkat kecemasan berat. terdapat adanya perbedaan tingkat kecemasan antara siswa kelas akselerasi dengan siswa kelas reguler dimana hasil analisis menunjukkan taraf signifikansi p = ,000 atau > ? = 0,05. kata kunci : kecemasan, kelas akselerasi, kelas reguler abstract anxiety is a mental health disorder that often occurs in adolescence. the different learning systems between acceleration classes and regular classes result in different levels of anxiety, so that it is necessary to conduct a research that can examine the different anxiety level of the students of these two types of classes. this study was carried out in order to determine the differences of anxiety level between students in acceleration class and students in the regular class at sma modal bangsa aceh. this research is an observational analytic with cross sectional design. it was conducted on respondents as many as 249 students, the respondents were chosen in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. this study was started from june 2014 to june 2015. the difference in the anxiety level between accelerated students and regular students of sma modal bangsa aceh was measured using dass questionnaire-anxiety and analyzed by man-whitney test ? = 0:05. the result of the study shows that male students tend to be more likely to have severe anxiety level that is 17 students (14.05%) compared with female students as many as 14 students (10.94%). students in the acceleration classes have a tendency to suffer severe anxiety level that is 29 students (70.70%) compared to the regular class students where there are only 2 students (1.00%) who experienced severe anxiety level. there are different anxiety level between the accelerated class students and regular class students, where the analyzed data indicate the significant level of p =, 000 or> ? = 0.05. keywords: anxiety, acceleration class, regular class.
