Materi sistem pencernaan merupakan salah satu topik yang sulit dipahami oleh siswa kelas xi di sman 15 banda aceh, dari hasil wawancara 60% siswa tidak mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (kkm). kesulitan ini disebabkan oleh kompleksitas materi, penggunaan istilah latin, proses fisiologis yang bersifat abstrak dan penggunaan metode ceramah yang kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif, sehingga motivasi dan hasil belajar rendah. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament (tgt) terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan melihat motivasi siswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan model tgt. penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian true experimental design. penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest control group. populasi terdiri dari 48 siswa kelas. seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sampel (total sampling) yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu, kelompok eksperimen kelas xi1 menggunakan model tgt dan kelompok kontrol kelas xi2 menggunakan metode ceramah. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari penerapan model tgt terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dengan peningkatan skor posttest yang lebih tinggi di kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. motivasi siswa pada kelas eksperimen setelah dilakukan pembelajaran juga lebih tinggi, dengan rata-rata persentase mencapai 87% dengan kategori tinggi. model tgt terbukti menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif, kompetitif, dan menyenangkan, sehingga meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam belajar. kesimpulannya, terdapat pengaruh pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tgt terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan di sman 15 banda aceh dan presentase motivasi belajar siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan model tgt berada dalam kategori tinggi. kata kunci: teams games tournament (tgt), motivasi belajar, hasil belajar, sistem pencernaan, pembelajaran kooperatif

Digestive system material is one of the topics that is difficult for grade XI students at SMAN 15 Banda Aceh to understand, from the results of the interview 60% of students did not reach the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This difficulty is caused by the complexity of the material, the use of Latin terms, abstract physiological processes and the use of lecture methods that do not involve students actively, resulting in low motivation and learning outcomes. This study aims to see the influence of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes and see student motivation after learning with the TGT model. The research uses a quantitative approach with a true experimental design type of research. This study uses a pretest-posttest control group experimental design. The population consists of 48 class students. All members of the population were sampled (total sampling) which was divided into two groups, namely, the experimental group of class XI1 using the TGT model and the control group of class XI2 using the lecture method. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the application of the TGT model on student learning outcomes, with a higher increase in posttest scores in the experimental class compared to the control class. The motivation of students in the experimental class after learning was also higher, with an average percentage of 87% in the high category. The TGT model is proven to create an interactive, competitive, and fun learning atmosphere, thereby increasing student engagement in learning. In conclusion, there was an influence on the application of the TGT type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the digestive system material at SMAN 15 Banda Aceh and the percentage of student learning motivation after being given learning with the TGT model was in the high category.
