Hiperurisemia adalah kondisi yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar asam urat dalam darah melebihi batas normal. penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak umbi tumbuhan sarang semut (hydnophytum formicarum) aceh besar terhadap penurunan kadar kolesterol serum pada tikus putih (rattus norvegicus) hiperurisemia. penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 24 ekor tikus putih jantan dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok perlakuan. kelompok p1 sebanyak 4 ekor diberi pakan standar, sedangkan kelompok p2, p3, p4, p5, dan p6 diberi pakan tinggi purin secara oral selama 14 hari untuk membuat tikus hiperurisemia. tikus kelompok p3 diberi allopurinol dosis 0,009 mg/g bb, kelompok p4, p5, dan p6 diberi perlakuan terapi ekstrak umbi sarang semut dosis 100, 150, dan 200 mg/kg bb. pemberian terapi dilakukan 14 hari secara oral dua kali sehari. pemberian air minum secara ad libitum untuk semua perlakuan. parameter yang diamati adalah perubahan kadar kolesterol serum tikus putih jantan hiperurisemia. analisis data menggunakan one way anova dengan uji lanjutan duncan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak umbi sarang semut berpengaruh nyata (p



Abstract

Hyperuricemia is a condition characterized by an increase in uric acid levels in the blood beyond normal limits. This study aims to determine the effect of the administration of anthill plant tuber extract (Hydnophytum formicarum) Aceh Besar on reducing serum cholesterol levels in hyperuricemia white rats (Rattus norvegicus). This study used a sample of 24 male white rats divided into 6 treatment groups. Group P1 as many as 4 heads were given standard feed, while groups P2, P3, P4, P5, and P6 were given high purine feed orally for 14 days to make hyperuricemia rats. Group P3 rats were given a dose of allopurinol 0.009 mg/bw, groups P4, P5, and P6 were treated with ants nest tuber extract therapy doses of 100, 150, and 200 mg/bw. Treatment was given for 14 days orally twice a day. Drinking water was provided ad libitum for all treatments. The parameters observed were changes in serum cholesterol levels of hyperuricemia male white rats. Data analysis using One way ANOVA with Duncan's further test.
