Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan teori semiotika yang dikemukakan oleh peirce dan nilai moral oleh teori linda dan eyre sebagai kerangka teoritis untuk mengetahui berbagai nilai moral dari ikon, indeks, dan simbol yang dihasilkan oleh film turning red di disney pixar. data untuk penelitian ini diperoleh dari ikon, indeks, dan simbol dalam film turning red yang menyampaikan nilai-nilai moral. analisis dokumen digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian ini. peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan menonton film dan memahaminya secara menyeluruh. setelah mengumpulkan data, peneliti menyelesaikan analisis dengan melalui beberapa langkah: menyiapkan data, meninjaunya, memverifikasi keakuratannya, dan melakukan perhitungan yang diperlukan. hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat 32 data ikon, indeks, dan simbol dalam film turning red yang menyampaikan nilai-nilai moral. nilai-nilai moral yang teridentifikasi dalam film turning red meliputi berbagai jenis yang dianalisis melalui ikon, indeks, dan simbol dalam adegan-adegan film dan diidentifikasi sebagai dua data kepercayaan diri, tiga data kemandirian, tiga data disiplin, lima data keberanian, lima data kesetiaan, enam data rasa hormat, empat data cinta dan kasih sayang, dan ada empat data kejujuran. terlihat bahwa data terbanyak terdapat pada kategori rasa hormat. berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dengan menggunakan teori peirce dapat mendeskripsikan makna nilai-nilai moral dari ikon, indeks, dan simbol yang diekspresikan dalam film kepada penonton.

This descriptive qualitative method using a semiotic theory who advocated by Peirce and moral values by Linda and Eyre theory as its theoretical framework to find out numerous the moral values of icons, indexes and symbols produced by Turning Red in the Disney Pixar. The data for this research were obtained from icons, indexes, and symbols in the movie Turning Red that convey moral values. Document analysis was used to collect data for this research. The researcher collected the data by watching the movie and fully comprehending it. After gathering the data, the researcher completed the analysis by going through several steps: preparing the data, reviewing it, verifying its accuracy, and performing the necessary calculations. The results found that there are 32 data of icons, indexes, and symbols in the movie Turning Red that convey moral values. The moral values identified in the movie Turning Red encompass various types all of which were analyzed through icons, indexes, and symbols within the film’s scenes and identified as two of Self- confidence, three data of Self-reliance, three data of Self-discipline, five data of Courage, five data of Loyalty, six data of Respect, four data of Love and affection, and there is four data of Honesty. It can be seen that most data are found in the categories Respect. Based on the result of the study, using Peirce’s theory can describe the meaning moral values of icons, indexes, and symbols expressed in the movie to the audience.
