Ikan kakap putih (lates calcarifer, bloch) merupakan salah satu komoditas budidaya laut unggulan di indonesia yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis yang cukup tinggi. selain itu, permasalahan ikan ini dalam usaha budidaya adalah penyediaan larva/benih yang tidak kontinyu akibat sintasan yang masih rendah, terutama pada stadia larva. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan sintasan larva dengan pemberian pakan alami seperti daphnia sp. yang diperkaya dengan vitamin c. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (ral) dengan 5 perlakuan yaitu pengkayaan daphnia sp. dengan dosis vitamin c masing-masing pa (0 mg/l), pb (150 mg/l), pc (200 mg/l), pd (250 mg/l) dan pe (300 mg/l) dan setiap perlakuan diulang 4 kali. selama pemeliharaan larva diberi pakan daphnia sp. yang telah diperkaya vitamin c sebanyak 5 kali sehari selama 14 hari, kemudian diamati pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, kelangsungan hidup, laju pertumbuhan spesifik dan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak. berdasarkan hasil analisis anova, pemberian daphnia sp. yang diperkaya dengan vitamin c berpengaruh nyata (p



Abstract

White snapper (Lates calcarifer, Bloch) is one of the leading marine aquaculture commodities in Indonesia which has a fairly high economic value. In addition, the problem of this fish in cultivation efforts is the provision of larvae/seeds that are not continuous due to low survival, especially in the larval stage. The purpose of this study was to increase the growth and survival of larvae by providing natural feed such as Daphnia sp. enriched with vitamin C. The research method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments, namely enrichment of Daphnia sp. with vitamin C doses of PA (0 mg/L), PB (150 mg/L), PC (200 mg/L), PD (250 mg/L) and PE (300 mg/L) and each treatment was repeated 4 times. During maintenance, the larvae were fed Daphnia sp. which had been enriched with vitamin C 5 times a day for 14 days, then the absolute length growth, survival, specific growth rate and absolute length growth were observed.
