Ruas jalan teuku nyak arief (6/2 t) dan teuku iskandar (2/2 t) merupakan jalan arteri sekunder yang berfungsi sebagai pusat perekonomian di kota banda aceh, dengan intensitas kegiatan yang tinggi. faktor-faktor seperti parkir tepi jalan, pedagang kaki lima, pejalan kaki, serta pelayanan spbu menyebabkan kemacetan dan penurunan kapasitas jalan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja jalan berdasarkan geometrik jalan, volume lalu lintas, hambatan samping, dan derajat kejenuhan, menggunakan pedoman kapasitas jalan indonesia (pkji) 2023. pada jalan teuku nyak arief, lebar jalan 21 m dengan lebar efektif 8 m, dan volume jam puncak mencapai 8.572 smp/jam pada senin, 10 juni 2024, pukul 07.00–08.00. hambatan samping tertinggi terdapat pada minggu, 9 juni 2024, pukul 17.00-18.00 dengan kelas s. derajat kejenuhan (dj) sebesar 0,852, dengan tingkat pelayanan (los) kelas d, yang menunjukkan arus mendekati tidak stabil, di mana kecepatan kendaraan masih dipengaruhi kondisi arus lalu lintas. pada jalan teuku iskandar, lebar jalan 9 m dengan lebar efektif 3,5 m, dan volume jam puncak sebesar 2.507 smp/jam tercatat pada kamis, 13 juni 2024, pukul 16.00–17.00. hambatan samping tertinggi terdapat pada senin, 10 juni 2024, pukul 16.00-17.00 dengan kelas s. derajat kejenuhan (dj) sebesar 0,659, dengan tingkat pelayanan (los) kelas c, yang menunjukkan arus lalu lintas masih stabil, meskipun kecepatan dan gerak kendaraan lebih terkendali oleh kondisi lalu lintas. kedua ruas jalan ini menunjukkan kebutuhan untuk perbaikan manajemen lalu lintas dan infrastruktur untuk meningkatkan kelancaran pergerakan.



Abstract

Teuku Nyak Arief Road (6 lanes/2 directions) and Teuku Iskandar Road (2 lanes/2 directions) are secondary arterial roads that serve as economic centers in Banda Aceh City, characterized by high intensity of activities. Factors such as roadside parking, street vendors, pedestrians, and gas station services cause congestion and reduce road capacity. This study aims to analyze road performance based on road geometrics, traffic volume, side obstacles, and degree of saturation, using the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines. On Teuku Nyak Arief Road, the width is 21 meters with an effective width of 8 meters, and the peak hour volume reaches 8,572 passenger car units per hour on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 07.00-08.00. The highest side obstacles were observed on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 17.00-18.00 classified as class S. The degree of saturation (Dj) is 0.852, with level of service (LOS) classified as class D, indicating that the traffic flow is close to unstable, where vehicle speed is still influenced by traffic flow conditions. On Teuku Iskandar Road, the width is 9 meters with an effective width of 3.5 meters, and the peak hour volume of 2,507 passenger car units per hour was recorded on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 16:00-17:00. The highest side obstacles were recorded on Monday, June 10, 2024, 16:00-17:00 classified as class S. The degree of saturation (Dj) is 0.659, with a level of service (LOS) classified as class C, indicating that traffic flow remains stable, although vehicle speed and movement are more controlled by traffic conditions. Both road sections demonstrate the need for improvements in traffic management and infrastructure to enhance the smooth flow of movement.
