Strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran meliputi peningkatan kemampuan mengajar guru, pendayagunaan media dan sarana pendidikan, pelaksanaan supervisi secara rutin, menjalin kerja sama dengan masyarakat dan penerapan disiplin waktu yang kuat. tujuan penelitian menganalisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaliasi dan tindak lanjut strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran menggunakan teknologi informasi. metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi, dan analisis kualitatif. hasil penelitian antara lain; 1) perencanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam perencanaan program sekolah, melibatkan semua pihak di sekolah, memberdayakan guru, melakukan supervisi dan evaluasi, membangun hubungan dengan orang tua dan masyarakat, menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, memiliki visi dan misi yang jelas, mengetahui perkembangan sekolah; 2) pelaksanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam pembelajaran dengan teknologi informasi tergolong cukup maksimal, guru dan siswa sering memanfaatkan teknologi seperti multimedia dan komputer untuk mengakses materi pelajaran, misalnya dalam materi biologi, matematika, bahasa indonesia, bahasa inggris, sejarah, dan melakukan kegiatan pembinaan khusus untuk peserta didik berprestasi; 3) evaluasi strategi kepala sekolah membimbing guru untuk memanfaatkan hasil penilaian untuk kepentingan pendidikan, menganalisis dan mengolah hasil penilaian kinerja kepala sekolah, guru, dan staf sekolah dan meninjau faktor internal dan eksternal yang menjadi dasar strategi saat ini; 4) tindak lanjut kepala sekolah yakni meningkatkan kompetensi guru, guru mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan antara sesama guru disekolah, memberikan dukungan dan sumber daya, mendorong kolaborasi dan pertukaran ide dan memberikan pengakuan atas prestasi. dengan demikian strategi kepala sekolah sangat mempengaruhi kualitas guru, siswa dan proses pembelajaran smp negeri 6 dan smp teuku nyak arif fatih bilingual school banda aceh



Abstract

The strategies employed by principals to improve learning quality include enhancing teachers' teaching abilities, optimizing educational media and facilities, conducting regular supervision, fostering collaboration with the community, and enforcing strong time discipline. The purpose of the study is to analyze the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up of school principals' strategies in improving the quality of learning using information technology. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and qualitative analysis. The findings are as follows: (1) Planning strategies by the principals involve creating school program plans, involving all stakeholders in the school, empowering teachers, conducting supervision and evaluation, building relationships with parents and the community, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, having a clear vision and mission, and understanding the school's development; (2) Implementation of principals' strategies in learning with information technology is relatively effective. Teachers and students frequently utilize technology, such as multimedia and computers, to access learning materials in subjects like Biology, Mathematics, Indonesian, English, and History. Special coaching activities for high-achieving students are also conducted; (3) Evaluation strategies by principals include guiding teachers to use assessment results for educational purposes, analyzing and processing performance assessment results for principals, teachers, and school staff, and reviewing internal and external factors that serve as the basis for current strategies; (4) Follow-up actions by principals include enhancing teachers' competencies through training activities among peers within the school, providing support and resources, encouraging collaboration and idea exchange, and recognizing achievements. Thus, these strategies significantly influence the quality of teachers, students, and the learning processes at State Junior High School 6 and Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School in Banda Aceh.
