[skripsi universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dr. drs. anwar, m.pd., dan dr. khairul umam, s.si., m.a.edsc. kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis sangat penting dimiliki oleh siswa pada pembelajaran matematika. kenyataanya menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan matematis siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar. oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya dalam mencapai ketuntasan tersebut, salah satu upayanya yaitu menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe stad berbantuan comic. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui penerapan model cooperative learning tipe stad berbantuan comic pada siswa kelas viii smp negeri 13 banda aceh yang dapat mencapai ketuntasan belajar. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pre-eksperimen dan desain one-shot case study. populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas viii smp negeri 13 banda aceh dan sampel yang terpilih kelas eksperimen (viii-1). instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis berbentuk uraian materi lingkaran. teknik analisis data memakai pengujian uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 5% sesudah prasyarat pengujian terpenuhi. berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh t_hitung>t_tabel atau 2,12>1,70, maka h0 ditolak. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan matematis siswa melalui penerapan model cooperative learning tipe stad berbantuan comic kelas viii smp negeri 13 banda aceh dapat mencapai ketuntasan belajar. kata kunci: comic, cooperative learning tipe stad, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, lingkaran.

Liuza. (2024). The Mathematical Problem-Solving Skills of Grade VIII Students at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh Through the Application of the STAD-Type Cooperative Learning Model with Comic Assistance. [Skripsi Universitas Syiah Kuala]. Under direction of Dr. Drs. Anwar, M.Pd., dan Dr. Khairul Umam, S.Si., M.A.EdSc. Mathematical problem-solving skills are essential for students in learning mathematics. However, the reality indicates that students' mathematical problem-solving abilities have not yet reached mastery level. Therefore, efforts are needed to achieve this goal, one of which is by applying the Cooperative Learning model of the STAD type with the use of comics as a learning aid. This study aims to evaluate the mathematical problem-solving abilities of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh through the implementation of the STAD-type Cooperative Learning model with comic assistance, achieving mastery learning. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a One-Shot Case Study design. The population of the study includes all Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh, with the experimental class sample being Class VIII-1. The research instrument consists of a mathematical problem-solving test in the form of essay questions on the topic of circles. Data analysis is conducted using a t-test at a 5% significance level, following the fulfillment of the test prerequisites. The findings reveal that t_hitung>t_tabel atau 2,12>1,70, leading to the rejection of H0. These results demonstrate that the implementation of the STAD-type Cooperative Learning model with comic assistance enables Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh to achieve mastery in mathematical problem-solving skills.
