Tuberkulosis (tb) adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh bakteri mycobacterium tuberculosis (m.tb). bakteri m.tb dapat menyerang berbagai macam organ, namun bentuk paling umum dari penyakit ini adalah tb paru. secara global sebanyak 10,6 juta orang menderita tb pada tahun 2022 dan indonesia berada pada peringkat ke-2 dengan beban tb terbanyak didunia. kehadiran dm dapat memperburuk prognosis tb, hal ini disebabkan karena dm memiliki hubungan yang kuat dengan kegagalan hasil pengobatan tb. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil klinis pasien tb paru dengan komorbid dm dengan luaran yang tidak diinginkan di rsudza. jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan retrospektif. sampel penelitian ini adalah 37 pasien yang terdiagnosis tb dengan komorbid dm dan mengalami luaran yang tidak diinginkan pada periode januari 2022 – mei 2024. pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder berupa rekam medis poliklinik dots. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 37 pasien mayoritas pasien memiliki rentang usia >60 tahun (48.6%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki (62.2%), memiliki imt normal (37.8%), sebagian besar pasien mendapati hasil tcm m.tb detected medium (43.2%), hasil pemeriksaan hba1c terbanyak adalah 9% (64.9%), mayoritas pasien telah menderita dm >5 tahun (54.1%), mendapati tatalaksana dm berupa insulin (94.6%), mayoritas pasien mengalami luaran yang tidak diinginkan berupa gagal terapi (81.1%). dapat disimpulkan bahwa pasien tb paru dengan komorbid dm yang mengalami luaran tidak diinginkan berupa gagal terapi sebagian besar berada pada rentang usia >60 tahun, memiliki imt normal, berjenis kelamin laki-laki, memiliki hasil pemeriksaan tcm m.tb detected medium, kadar hba1c  9%, menderita dm 5 tahun dan mendapati tatalaksana dm berupa insulin. kata kunci: tuberkulosis, diabetes melitus, profil klinis, luaran tidak diinginkan

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.Tb). M.Tb bacteria can affect a wide range of organs, but the most common form of the disease is pulmonary TB. Globally, 10.6 million people will suffer from TB by 2022 and Indonesia is ranked 2nd with the highest TB burden in the world. The presence of DM can worsen the prognosis of TB, this is because DM has a strong association with failure of TB treatment outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the clinical profile of pulmonary TB patients with comorbid DM with undesirable outcomes at RSUDZA. This type of research is descriptive research with a retrospective approach. The samples of this study were 37 patients diagnosed with TB with comorbid DM and experienced undesirable outcomes in the period January 2022 - May 2024. The results showed that of the 37 pasients, the majority of pasients had an age range of >60 years (48.6%), were male (62.2%), had normal BMI (37.8%), most pasients had TCM M.Tb detected medium (43.2%), the most HbA1c examination results were 9% (64.9%), the majority of pasients had suffered from DM > 5 years (54.1%), received DM management in the form of insulin (94.6%), the majority of pasients experienced undesirable outcomes in the form of therapy failure (81.1%). It can be concluded that pulmonary TB patients with comorbid DM who experience undesirable outcomes in the form of therapy failure are mostly in the age range >60 years, have normal BMI, are male, have TCM M.Tb examination results detected medium, HbA1c levels  9%, have DM  5 years and receive DM management in the form of insulin.
