[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dr. usman, s.pd., m.pd., dan drs. m. hasbi, m.pd. rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya penerapan model pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tgt di smpn 13 banda aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode pre-experimental design dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest design. populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas viii smpn 13 banda aceh dan sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 33 siswa kelas viii-2 smpn 13 banda aceh dengan pemilihan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji t dengan one-tailed test. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tgt di smpn 13 banda aceh mencapai ketuntasan. dengan demikian, hal tersebut berarti bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tgt dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. kata kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tgt, hasil belajar matematika siswa, ketuntasan belajar.

The low mathematics learning outcomes of students are caused by several factors, one of which is the implementation of learning models that are less appropriate to student characteristics. This research aims to determine the completeness of students' mathematics learning through the implementation of the TGT type cooperative learning model at SMPN 13 Banda Aceh. This research uses a quantitative approach using the pre-experimental design method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research was all students of class VIII of SMPN 13 Banda Aceh and the sample in this research was 33 students of class VIII-2 of SMPN 13 Banda Aceh with sample selection using simple random sampling. Data analysis of this research used the t-test with a one-tailed test. The results of the research showed that students' mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the TGT type cooperative learning model at SMPN 13 Banda Aceh achieved completeness. Thus, it means that the TGT type cooperative learning model can have a positive impact on students' mathematics learning outcomes.
