Aceh merupakan daerah yang terkenal dengan produk kopi. akan tetapi, pengolahan dari produk sampingan yang dihasilkan dari kopi masih belum optimal. selain itu, aceh juga menghasilkan nilam yang berpotensi diolah menjadi produk yang bermanfaat untuk kulit. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi kombinasi ekstrak kulit kopi arabika gayo 10% dengan minyak nilam 1% sebagai penghambat enzim tirosinase dan dopachrome pada proses melanogenesis secara in silico. melalui metode docking molekuler, interaksi antara senyawa aktif dalam kedua ekstrak dengan situs aktif enzim tirosinase dan dopachrome dianalisis. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa senyawa dalam kombinasi ekstrak tersebut memiliki afinitas yang baik terhadap kedua enzim, mengindikasikan potensi sebagai agen dalam pengobatan hiperpigmentasi. studi in silico ini memberikan landasan awal yang kuat untuk pengembangan produk kosmetik alami berbasis ekstrak kulit kopi arabika gayo dan minyak nilam.

Aceh is an area well known for its coffee products. However, the processing of by-products produced from coffee is still not optimal. In addition, Aceh also produces patchouli which has the potential to be processed into products that are beneficial for the skin. This study aims to evaluate the potential of a combination of 10% Gayo Arabica coffee skin extract with 1% patchouli oil as an inhibitor of tyrosinase and dopachrome enzymes in the melanogenesis process in silico. Through molecular docking method, the interaction between active compounds in both extracts with the active sites of tyrosinase and dopachrome enzymes was analyzed. The results showed that some of the compounds in the extract combination had good affinity to both enzymes, indicating potential as agents in the treatment of hyperpigmentation. This in silico study provides a strong initial foundation for the development of natural cosmetic products based on Gayo Arabica coffee skin extract and patchouli oil.
