Kanker adalah penyakit ganas yang ditandai oleh pertumbuhan sel yang tidak terkontrol dan dapat menyebar melalui darah dan sistem limfatik. salah satu terapi yang umum digunakan dalam pengobatan kanker adalah kemoterapi, yang bertujuan untuk menghambat pertumbuhan sel kanker. kemoterapi juga dapat menyebabkan efek samping yang signifikan, salah satunya adalah mukositis. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara faktor risiko perawatan kemoterapi dan kejadian mukositis pada pasien kanker di rumah sakit umum daerah zainoel abidin (rsudza) banda aceh. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain cross-sectional dengan melibatkan 82 pasien kanker berusia 5 hingga lebih dari 60 tahun. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 56,1% pasien mengalami mukositis, dengan analisis statistik menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara frekuensi dan durasi kemoterapi serta efek stomatotoksik obat terhadap kejadian mukositis (p

Cancer is a malignant disease characterized by uncontrolled cell growth that can spread through the blood and lymphatic system. One common therapy used in cancer treatment is chemotherapy, aimed at inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. However, chemotherapy can also cause significant side effects, one of which is mucositis. This study aims to analyze the relationship between chemotherapy treatment risk factors and the incidence of mucositis in cancer patients at Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital (RSUDZA) Banda Aceh.
