Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi. fokus penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi manajemen sekolah pasca penerapan sistem zonasi di sma negeri 2 banda aceh. teori analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori birokrasi oleh max weber yang memiliki enam aspek, yaitu livision of labour, a hierarchy of office, formal, specialization in training, full working capacity, dan general. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) dalam hal birokrasi, sekolah memiliki tim manajemen yang bertanggungjawab atas setiap tugas pokok dan fungsi yang dimiliki oleh setiap bidang. (2) adanya kedudukan yang bertingkat untuk dapat bekerja sesuai degan kedudukan dan struktur sekolah agar proses pelaksanaan sekolah berjalan dengan baik, (3) sekolah memiliki bahan dokumentasi dan juga arsip sebagai bukti pelaksanaan dan sebagai bahan pertanggungjawaban sekolah, (4) tim manajemen yang telah menerima status sebagai manajemen sekolah, akan mempunyai kemampuan masingmasing terkait tupoksi yang dimilikinya, (5) sekolah memiliki kapasitas jam kerja sesuai dengan ketentuan yang diberikan oleh manajemen sekolah untuk memenuhi jam kerja sebagai guru atau staff sekolah, (6) sekolah memiliki peraturan yang dirancang untuk seluruh warga sekolah agar semuaya dapat mematuhi aturan yang telah berlaku untuk ketertiban sekolah, (5) terjadinya perubahan kondisi siswa setelah sistem zonasi sekolah diterapkan. (6) strategi sekolah dalam pasca penerapan sistem zonasi menekankan pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi sekolah guna memaksimalkan kebijakan di semester selanjutnya. kata kunci : strategi sekolah, manajemen sekolah, sistem zonasi

This research is a qualitative study using interview data collection methods. This research focuses on the management strategies of schools following the implementation of the zoning system at SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. The purpose of this research is to understand the strategies of the school after the implementation of the school zoning system. The analytical theory used in this research employs Max Weber's Bureaucracy Theory, which has six aspects: Division of Labour, A Hierarchy of Office, Formality, Specialization in training, Full working capacity, and General. From the data obtained, the research findings indicate that (1) In terms of Bureaucracy, the school has a management team responsible for each core task and function within each area. (2) There is a hierarchical position to work according to the roles and structure of the school to ensure the smooth implementation of school processes. (3) The school has documentation and archives as evidence of implementation and as accountability materials. (4) The management team that has received the status of school management or even teachers will have their respective competencies related to their jobs. (5) The school has working hour capacity in accordance with the provisions set by the school management to meet the working hours as teachers or school staff. (6) The school has regulations designed for all school members so that everyone can comply with the existing rules for school order. (7) There has been a change in student conditions, which has become relatively heterogeneous after the school zoning system was implemented. (6) The school's strategy following the implementation of the zoning system emphasizes the stages of planning, execution, and evaluation to maximize the policy in the upcoming semester.
