Pengupasan lapisan tanah penutup (overburden) merupakan salah satu proses penambangan batubara. overburden akan ditimbun pada area yang telah ditetapkan untuk menghindari tertutupnya lapisan batubara. area penimbunan overburden dapat disebut dengan disposal. faktor keamanan lereng merupakan faktor penting yang perlu diperhitungkan saat merencanakan design disposal, untuk menghindari terjadinya longsor pada area penimbunan. penelitian ini dilakukan pada pt caritas energi indonesia site pt karya bumi baratama. perusahaan ini melakukan pengupasan lapisan tanah penutup (overburden) dan membutuhkan perencanaan disposal untuk periode triwulan iii 2023. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan design disposal yang mampu menampung overburden dari pit 6 pada periode triwulan iii 2023, serta menganalisis faktor keamanan design disposal tersebut. parameter geometri lereng design disposal periode triwulan iii 2023 adalah 8 meter tinggi bench, 8 meter lebar bench, dan 25° kemiringan bench. metode bishop simplified dengan software rocscience slide digunakan pada penelitian ini guna memperhitungkan serta menganalisis faktor keamanan design disposal. target overburden dari pit 6 pada periode triwulan iii 2023 berjumlah 857.500 bcm atau 1.029.000 lcm. kapasitas design disposal 1.158.112 bcm, menunjukkan bahwa design disposal dapat menampung target overburden pit 6 periode triwulan iii 2023. dari 7 sections, didapatkan hasil perhitungan faktor keamanan design tertinggi 4,400 dan terendah 2,037. hasil perhitungan nilai faktor keamanan design disposal periode t riwulan iii 2023 berdasarkan kepmen 1827 k/30/mem/2018 menunjukkan bahwa design akhir disposal adalah rancangan yang aman untuk diaplikasikan ke lapangan. kata kunci: overburden, design, disposal, lereng



Abstract

Overburden removal is one of the coal mining processes. Overburden will be stockpiled in a designated area to avoid covering the coal layer. The overburden stockpiling area can be called disposal. The slope safety factor is an important factor that needs to be considered when planning a disposal design, to avoid landslides in the stockpiling area. This research was conducted at PT Caritas Energi Indonesia site PT Karya Bumi Baratama. This company is carrying out overburden removal and requires disposal planning for the period of Quarter III 2023. This study aims to plan a disposal design that can accommodate overburden from Pit 6 in the period of Quarter III 2023, as well as to analyze the safety factors of the disposal design. The geometry parameters of the slope design disposal period of Quarter III 2023 are 8 meters bench height, 8 meters bench width, and 25° bench slope. The Bishop Simplified method with Rocscience Slide software is used in this study to calculate and analyze the safety factors of the disposal design. The overburden target of Pit 6 in the period of Quarter III 2023 is 857,500 BCM or 1,029,000 LCM. The design disposal capacity of 1,158,112 BCM, shows that the design disposal can accommodate the overburden target of Pit 6 in the period of Quarter III 2023. From 7 sections, the highest design safety factor calculation results were 4,400 and the lowest 2,037. The results of the calculation of the safety factor value of the design disposal period of Quarter III 2023 based on KEPMEN 1827 K / 30 / MEM / 2018 show that the final design of the disposal is a safe design to be applied to the field.
