[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dra. nurhasanah, m.pd dan khairiah, s.pd., m.ed . persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan kedisiplinan mengacu pada penilaian pribadi siswa mengenai bagaimana kebijakan dan aturan disiplin diterapkan oleh sekolah, serta dampaknya terhadap pengalaman dan perilaku mereka di lingkungan sekolah. hal ini mencakup bagaimana siswa merasakan keadilan, konsistensi, dan efektivitas dari kebijakan disiplin yang diterapkan. tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan kedisiplinan di smp negeri 8 banda aceh. pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa smp negeri 8 banda aceh yang terdiri dari kelas vii dan viii dengan jumlah sampel 238 dari 586 populasi. prosedur pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan probability sampling dengan teknik simple random sampling. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan kedisiplinan dengan jenis skala likert yang disebarkan secara langsung kepada siswa. hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa (71%) memiliki kecenderungan persepsi terhadap penerapan kedisiplinan yang berada pada kategori tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, sementara (28%) siswa berada pada kategori sedang, dan tidak ada (0%) siswa yang berada kategori rendah hingga sangat rendah. menunjukkan bahwa keseluruhan sampel sudah memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap penerapan kedisiplinan. kata kunci: persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan kedisiplinan.

Nurhasanah, M.Pd and Khairiah, S.Pd., M.Ed . Student Perception of Discipline Implementation refere’s to the student's personal assessment of how discipline policies and rules are implemented by the school, and their impact on their experience and behavior in the school environment. This includes how students perceive the fairness, consistency, and effectiveness of the discipline policies implemented. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of Student Perceptions of Discipline Implementation at SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. The approach in this study used a quantitative approach with descriptive quantitative methods. The population in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh consisting of classes VII and VIII with a sample size of 238 out of 586 population. The sampling procedure in this study used probability sampling with simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a scale of student perceptions of the application of discipline with a Likert scale type distributed directly to students. The results of data analysis show that most students (71%) have a tendency to perceive the application of discipline in the high category, while (28%) students are in the medium category, and there are no (0%) students in the low to very low category. This shows that the entire sample already has a positive perception of the application of discipline. Keywords: Student Perceptions of Discipline Implementation.
