Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self esteem, career competencies terhadap career adaptability yang dimoderasi oleh career shock pada karyawan bank syariah indonesia di kota banda aceh. penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan bank syariah indonesia (bsi) kota banda aceh yang berasal dari bank konvensional dengan jumlah sebanyak 111 orang. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling. metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistical product and service solutions(spss) digunakan sebagai metode analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar variabel yang diteliti. berdasarkan hasil penelitian menemukan bahwaself-esteem dan career competencies berpengaruh signifikan secara langsung terhadap career adaptibility. penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa career shock memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap career adaptability. kemudian ditemukan juga bahwa career shock memoderasi pengaruh self-esteem terhadap career adaptabilityserta career shock memoderasi pengaruh career competencies terhadap career adaptability.

Abstract
This research aims to determine the influence of self-esteem, career competencies on career adaptability which is moderated by career shock in Bank Syariah Indonesia employees in Banda Aceh City. This research is quantitative research, data collection uses a questionnaire as an instrument. The population in this study were all employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Banda Aceh City who came from conventional banks with a total of 111 people. The method used in this research is simple random sampling. The data analysis method used is Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) which is used as an analysis method to determine the influence between the variables studied. Based on the research results, it was found that self-esteem and career competencies have a significant direct effect on career adaptability. Research also shows that career shock has a significant influence on career adaptability. Then it was also found that career shock moderated the influence of self-esteem on career adaptability and career shock moderated the influence of career competencies on career adaptability.
