Ikan mas memiliki potensi budidaya yang besar dan populer di masyarakat karena memiliki daging yang enak, tebal, empuk, dan kaya akan gizi. karena harganya yang terjangkau, ikan air tawar banyak diminati oleh masyarakat di indonesia. kebutuhan masyarakat akan konsumsi ikan air tawar meningkatkan kebutuhan jumlah produksi benih ikan yang tinggi. hal ini membutuhkan transportasi untuk sampai ke tangan konsumen. sistem transportasi benih ikan harus mempertimbangkan lamanya perjalanan, biaya dan keselamatan ikan sampai di tempat tujuan. salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah penambahan bahan tertentu ke wadah pengemasan seperti tabelt propack. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian “propack” sebagai penunjang keberlangsungan hidup pada benih ikan mas dengan kepadatan berbeda pada transportasi tertutup. penelitian ini dilakukan pada 22 maret 2024 di lingkungan fakultas kelautan dan perikanan, universitas syiah kuala. penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap (thrall et al.) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan yaitu p0 (kepadatan 45 ekor), p1(kepadatan 45 ekor + 50ppm), p2 (kepadatan 60 ekor + 50 ppm), p3 (kepadatan 75 ekor + 50 ppm), p4 ( kepadatan 90 ekor + 50ppm) dengan lama transportasi 30 jam. ikan yang uji yang digunakan berukuran 3-5 cm. berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsentrasi propact berpengaruh nyata terhadap kualitas air, sulvival rate, tingkah laku ikan dan ph darah (p



Abstract

Carp have great aquaculture potential and are popular in the community because they have tasty, thick, tender meat and are rich in nutrients. Because of its affordable price, freshwater fish is in great demand by people in Indonesia. The public's need for freshwater fish consumption increases the need for a high amount of fish seed production. This requires transportation to get to the hands of consumers. The fish seed transportation system must consider the length of the trip, the cost and the safety of the fish until it reaches its destination. One of the efforts that can be made is the addition of certain materials to packaging containers such as Propack tabelts. This study aims to determine the effect of giving “Propack” as a survival support for goldfish seeds with different densities in closed transportation. This research was conducted on March 22, 2024 at the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Syiah Kuala University. This study uses an experimental method with a complete randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replicates, namely P0 (Density 45 fish), P1 (Density 45 fish + 50 ppm), P2 (Density 60 fish + 50 ppm), P3 (Density 75 fish + 50 ppm), P4 (Density 90 fish + 50 ppm) with a transportation time of 30 hours. The test fish used were 3-5 cm in size. Based on this study it can be concluded that the concentration of propact significantly affects water quality, sulvival rate, fish behavior and blood pH (P < 0.05). Based on the highest value obtained in the P1 treatment with the survival of P1 (50 ppm) with a density of 45 fish with a value of 87.75%. The best behavioral observation results from all treatments based on scoring values are also found in P1, namely responsive fish and few deaths followed by the results of observations of water quality parameters:(30.2 ℃), DO (6.47 mg/l), Ammonia (0.5 ppm) and water pH (6.82). Therefore, propact at a dose of 50 ppm with a stocking density of 45 fish/liter with a transportation time of 30 hours is recommended for carp (Cyprinus carpio).
