Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakter budaya bisnis etnis tionghoa di kota banda aceh menurut etika bisnis islam. sampel yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini berjumlah lima orang narasumber dipilih diantaranya tiga pebisnis etnis tionghoa di kota banda aceh dan dua orang customer etnis tionghoa. teknik analisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analisis. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etnis tionghoa menerapkan karakter budaya bisnis yang sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis islam. seperti menekankan pelayanan baik, kejujuran, kestabilan harga, kualitas produk, produk halal, dan kepuasan pelanggan. selain itu, mereka membayar upah sesuai standar, bertanggung jawab, dan menjaga kepercayaan serta berupaya bersikap toleran dan adil dalam berbisnis. pendekatan mereka menghindari praktik curang, seperti monopoli dan menjatuhkan reputasi pesaing, serta berfokus pada dampak sosial dari kegiatan bisnis. namun terdapat beberapa hal yang berbeda dan tidak sesuai dalam penerapan kerakter budaya bisnisnya dengan etika bisnis islam, yaitu menjaga kehalalan produk, dermawan, zakat, tidak terlibat dalam monopoli, mengutamakan kepuasan pelanggan, mempraktikkan keadilan dalam segala aspek bisnis. kata kunci : etika bisnis islam, etnis tionghoa, budaya bisnis, perspektif ekonomi islam



Abstract

This research aims to analyze the character of ethnic Chinese business culture in Banda Aceh City according to Islamic business ethics. The sample used in this research consisted of five sources, including three ethnic Chinese business people in Banda Aceh City and two ethnic Chinese customers. The analysis technique uses a qualitative approach with descriptive-analysis methods. The research results show that ethnic Chinese implement a business culture character that is in line with the principles of Islamic business ethics. Such as emphasizing good service, honesty, price stability, product quality, halal products, and customer satisfaction. Apart from that, they pay wages according to standards, are responsible and maintain trust and try to be tolerant and fair in business. Their approach avoids fraudulent practices, such as monopolies and bringing down competitors' reputations, and focuses on the social impact of business activities. However, there are several things that are different and incompatible in the application of business culture characteristics to Islamic business ethics. Such as maintaining halal product, giving philanthropy, not being involved in monopoly, prioritizing customer satisfaction, spreading justice in all aspects of business.
