Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang kandungan logam berat mangan pada sedimen di pelabuhan jetty meulaboh, aceh barat. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan logam berat mangan pada sedimen di pelabuhan jetty meulaboh, aceh barat. penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan mei 2024. pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling menggunakan pipa paralon dengan panjang 10 cm dan diameter 2,5 inch. sampel sedimen diambil dari 3 stasiun dengan kedalaman lapisan atas 0-5 cm dan lapisan bawah 6-10 cm. kadar logam mangan pada sampel sedimen dianalisis menggunakan atomic absorption spectrophotometer (aas) di laboratorium lingkungan prodi teknik kimia fakultas teknik universitas syiah kuala. hasil analisis kandungan logam berat mangan pada sedimen di lapisan atas sebesar 9,09 –22,89 mg/kg dan lapisan bawah 5,54 –15,81 mg/kg menunjukkan bahwa pelabuhan jetty sudah tercemar logam berat mangan menurut australian and new zeeland environment and conservation council (anzecc, 2000). kata kunci : logam berat, sedimen, mangan, aas



Abstract

Research has been conducted on the content of heavy metal manganese in sediments in Meulaboh Jetty Port, West Aceh. The purpose of this study was to determine the content of heavy metal manganese in sediments in Meulaboh Jetty Port of West Aceh. This research was conducted in May 2024. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling method using a pipe with a length of 10 cm and a diameter of 2.5 inches. Sediment samples were collected from 3 stations with a depth of 0-5 cm top layer and 6-10 cm bottom layer. Manganese metal content in sediment samples was analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) in the Environmental Laboratory of Chemical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Syiah Kuala. The results of the analysis of manganese heavy metal content in sediments in the upper layer ranged from 9.09 -22.89 mg / kg and the lower layer ranged from 5.54 -15.81 mg / kg indicate that the Jetty Port of has been polluted with heavy metals manganese according to the Australian and New Zeeland Environment and Conservation Council (ANZECC, 2000).
