Media pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap minat siswa, sehingga penggunaan media gambar sangat penting. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan belajar dan peningkatan mendesain busana oleh siswa berdasarkan pemaparan media gambar pada mata pelajaran desain busana di smkn 1 sinabang. penelitian ini dirancang dengan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di kelas xi smkn 1 sinabang menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan data kuantitatif. teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan test terhadap responden yang memenuhi kriteria topik penelitian yaitu siswa kelas xi smkn 1 sinabang. dari hasil penelitian ini, terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata antara siklus i dan siklus ii. nilai rata-rata siklus i tercatat sebesar 48,9, sementara nilai rata-rata siklus ii mencapai 72,3. dengan demikian, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 23,4 poin. dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus ii menunjukan peningkatan banyak, hal ini dapat dilihat pada rata-rata nilai kemampuan belajar materi menggambar busana dengan pendekatan kontekstual pelaksanaan pembelajaran materi menggambar busana dengan pendekatan kontekstual yang mengacu pada tes praktek dan pada siklus ii diperoleh rata-rata nilai 72,3 kategori sangat baik, dimana siswa mulai terbiasa menerima materi melalui pembelajaran kontekstual. peningkatan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 70% siswa mampu mencapai standar ketuntasan belajar yang ditetapkan yaitu 70%, sehingga pendekatan kontekstual pada pembelajaran menggambar busana melalui pemaparan media gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa kelas xi smk negeri 1 sinabang dalam kategori sangat baik. kata kunci: menggambar busana, kemampuan siswa, siswa kelas xi di smk negeri 1 sinabang.



Abstract

Learning media influences student interest, so the use of image media is very important. This research aims to determine the increase in learning abilities and improvement in fashion designing by students based on exposure to image media in the Fashion Design subject at SMKN 1 Sinabang. This research was designed as classroom action research carried out in class XI at SMKN 1 Sinabang using descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques are through observation and tests on respondents who meet the research topic criteria, namely class XI students at SMKN 1 Sinabang. From the results of this research, there was an increase in the average value between cycle I and cycle II. The average value for cycle I was recorded at 48.9, while the average value for cycle II reached 72.3. Thus, there was an increase of 23.4 points. From the research results, it was found that the implementation of learning in cycle II showed a lot of improvement, this can be seen in the average value of the learning ability of fashion drawing material with a contextual approach. The implementation of learning fashion drawing material with a contextual approach which refers to practical tests and in cycle II an average score of 72.3 was obtained in the very good category, where students are starting to get used to receiving material through contextual learning. The increase from this research is that 70% of students are able to achieve the set standard of learning completeness, namely 70%, so that the contextual approach to learning fashion drawing can improve the learning abilities of class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Sinabang in the very good category.
