Abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur komunitas plankton meliputi keanekaragaman, keseragaman, kelimpahan dan dominansi serta menganalisis pengaruh parameter fisika-kimia terhadap kelimpahan plankton. penelitian telah dilakukan pada bulan februari 2024 di perairan saney, kecamatan lhoong, aceh besar. pengambilan sampel plankton dilakukan dengan tiga kali pengulangan di setiap stasiun pengamatan menggunakan plankton net dengan metode ciduk. indentifikasi plankton dilakukan di laboratorium biologi laut, fakultas kelautan dan perikanan, universitas syiah kuala. parameter fosfat dan nitrat diuji secara ex situ di laboratorium teknik pengujian kualitas lingkungan, fakultas teknik, universitas syiah kuala. hasil penelitian ditemukan 47 genus plankton yang berasal dari 10 kelas, yaitu bacillariophyceae, dinophyceae, cyanophyceae, chlorophyceae, branchipoda, maxillopoda, litostomatea, bdelloidea, dan monogononta. kelimpahan plankton tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 4 sebesar 1197,28 ind/l dan kelimpahan terendah terdapat pada stasiun 3 sebesar 348,30 ind/l. nilai indeks keanekaragaman plankton tergolong sedang (2,14 – 2,85), keseragaman tergolong tinggi (0,92 – 0,97), dan nilai indeks dominansi tergolong rendah (0,06 – 0,12). hasil analisis korelasi moment pearson menunjukkan nitrat, fosfat, dan suhu memilki hubungan korelasi positif terhadap kelimpahan plankton. sedangkan, untuk parameter salinitas dan ph memiliki hubungan korelasi negatif. kata kunci : perairan saney, kelimpahan plankton, parameter fisika-kimia, korelasi moment pearson.



Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the structure of the plankton community including diversity, uniformity, abundance and dominance and analyze the effect of physico-chemical parameters on plankton abundance. The research was conducted in February 2024 in the waters of Saney, Lhoong District, Aceh Besar. Plankton sampling was conducted with three repetitions at each observation station using a plankton net with the scoop method. Plankton identification was carried out at the Marine Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Syiah Kuala University. Phosphate and nitrate parameters were tested ex situ at the Environmental Quality Testing Engineering Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Syiah Kuala University. The results found 47 genus of plankton from 10 classes, namely Bacillariophyceae, Dinophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Branchipoda, Maxillopoda, Litostomatea, Bdelloidea, and Monogononta. The highest plankton abundance was found at station 4 at 1197.28 ind/L and the lowest abundance was found at station 3 at 348.30 ind/L. The plankton diversity index value was moderate (2.14 - 2.85), evenness was high (0.92 - 0.97), and the dominance index value was low (0.06 - 0.12). The results of the Pearson Moment Correlation analysis show that nitrate, phosphate, and temperature have a positive correlation with plankton abundance. Meanwhile, salinity and pH parameters have a negative correlation. Keywords: Saney waters, Plankton abundance, Physico-chemical parameters, Pearson Moment Correlation.
