Kawasan hutan resort pengelolaan hutan (rph) alue geulima tahura pocut meurah intan termasuk tipe hutan hujan tropis pegunungan yang menjadi habitat alami dari berbagai jenis tumbuhan, salah satunya dari suku anggrek anggrekan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis tumbuhan anggrek, menganalisis indeks nilai penting (inp), indeks keanekaragaman jenis dan indeks dominansi jenis tumbuhan anggrek di rph alue geulima tahura pocut meurah intan aceh besar. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling. dasar peletakan petak penelitian dilakukan secara purposive berdasarkan adanya jenis dan populasi anggrek. spesies tumbuhan anggrek yang ditemukan di kawasan rph alue geulima tahura pocut meurah intan terdiri dari 7 genus yaitu calanthe, polystachya, cymbidium, spathoglottis, dendrobium, goodyera dan arachnis, dengan total 9 spesies dan 118 individu. spesies anggrek dengan inp tertinggi pada pada kawasan rph alue geulima yaitu spesies calanthe triplicata (will.) ames dengan inp 51.66%. nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis anggrek di rph alue geulima tergolong dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai 1,84. nilai indeks dominansi jenis anggrek tergolong ke dalam kategori rendah dengan nilai 0,19.

The forest area of the Alue Geulima Forest Management Resort (RPH) in the Pocut Meurah Intan Grand Forest Park (Tahura) is classified as a tropical montane rainforest, serving as a natural habitat for various plant species, including members of the orchid family. This study aims to analyze the types of orchid plants, calculate the Important Value Index (INP), Species Diversity Index, and Species Dominance Index of orchids in the RPH Alue Geulima Tahura Pocut Meurah Intan, Aceh Besar. The research employed a purposive sampling method. The placement of research plots was determined purposively based on the presence and population of orchids. Orchid species found in the Alue Geulima RPH area consist of 7 genera: Calanthe, Polystachya, Cymbidium, Spathoglottis, Dendrobium, Goodyera, and Arachnis, with a total of 9 species and 118 individuals. The orchid species with the highest INP in the RPH Alue Geulima area was Calanthe triplicata (Will.) Ames, with an INP of 51.66%. The species diversity index of orchids in RPH Alue Geulima is classified as medium category, with a value of 1.84. The species dominance index of orchids is categorized as low, with a value of 0.19.
