(2) dra. nurhasanah, m.pd. rendahnya minat belajar siswa di sejumlah smp di banda aceh menjadi perhatian. salah satu faktor penghambat minat belajar adalah kemampuan untuk tidak mengelola stres yang dialami. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara tingkat stres yang dialami siswa dengan minat belajar mereka. adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat coping stress dan minat belajar pada siswa smp n banda aceh, serta untuk mengetahui hubungan coping stress dengan minat belajar pada siswa smp n banda aceh. jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/i di smp negeri banda aceh, sedangkan sampel berjumlah 293 orang. teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik probability sampling. software yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu microsoft excel dan spss 26.00 for windows. berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara coping stress dan minat belajar (r = 0,331, p < 0,001). hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara variabel coping stress dan minat belajar pada siswa/i smp. namun apabila ditelaah dari besaran indeks korelasi ini memberi makna bahwa minat belajar tidak hanya ditentukan oleh faktor coping stress. hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi kemampuan siswa dalam mengatasi stres, semakin tinggi pula minat belajarnya. apabila hasil penelitian ini ditelaah berdasarkan masing-masing variabel ditemukan bahwa tingkat coping stress peserta didik smp negeri banda aceh dominan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase (78%). begitu pula minat belajar peserta didik smp negeri banda aceh berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase (85%). kata kunci: coping stress, minat belajar, siswa smp

Drs Syaiful Bahri M.Pd. and Dra. Nurhasanah, M.Pd. The low interest in learning of students in a number of junior high schools in Banda Aceh is a concern. One of the factors inhibiting interest in learning is the ability not to manage the stressexperienced. This research aims to examine the relationship between the level of stressexperienced by students and their interest in learning. The aim of the research is to determinethe level of coping with stress and interest in learning in SMP N Banda Aceh students, as well asto determine the relationship between coping stress and interest in learning in SMP N students in Banda Aceh. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study werestudents at Banda Aceh State Middle School, while the sample was 293 people. The samplingtechnique in this research is the Probability Sampling technique. The software used in thisresearch is Microsoft Excel and SPSS 26.00 for Windows. Based on the results of correlation analysis, it shows that there is a significant relationship between coping with stress and interestin learning (r = 0.331, p < 0.001). This shows that there is a relationship between stress coping variables and interest in learning in junior high school students. However, if we examine the magnitude of the correlation index, it means that interest in learning is not only determined bystress coping factors. These results indicate that the higher a student's ability to deal with stress,the higher their interest in learning. If the results of this research are analyzed based on eachvariable, it is found that the stress coping level of Banda Aceh State Middle School students ispredominantly in the high category with a percentage of (78%). Likewise, the learning interest ofBanda Aceh State Middle School students is in the high category with a percentage of (85%)..
