(2024). citra perempuan dalam novel sisi tergelap surga karya brian khrisna. skripsi. universitas syiah kuala. dibawah bimbingan dr. budi arianto, s.pd., m.a., dan maya safhida, s.pd., m.pd. penelilitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan citra perempuan dalam novel sisi tergelap surga karya brian khrisna. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh dari karya sastra novel sisi tergelap surga karya brian khrisna. data penelitian ini berupa bagian-bagian ungkapan atau pernyataan novel yang berhubungan dengan citra perempuan dalam novel. pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pustaka. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran citra tokoh perempuan yang terdapat dalam novel sisi tergelap surga karya brian khrisna meliputi citra diri perempuan dan citra sosial perempuan. citra diri perempuan terdiri atas citra fisik dan citra psikis. citra fisik perempuan yang tergambar dalam novel sisi tergelap surga adalah perempuan dewasa, secara biologis perempuan dewasa dicirikan oleh menstruasi. citra psikis yang tergambar dicitrakan dari keadaan psikologisnya saat menghadapi permasalahan dari dalam (keluarga) maupun dari luar (lingkungan). selanjutnya, citra sosial perempuan terdiri atas citra perempuan dalam keluarga dan citra perempuan dalam masyarakat. dalam lingkungan keluarga digambarkan sebagai perempuan dewasa yang tugasnya sebagai seorang istri, seorang ibu, mengurus pekerjaan rumah tangga, dan seorang perempuan yang bisa mencukupi kebutuhan keluarganya. citra perempuan dalam masyarakat dicitrakan sebagai seorang perempuan yang senantiasa memerlukan manusia lain untuk mencapai kesempurnaan dirinya kata kunci: citra perempuan, sisi tergelap surga, kajian feminisme.

Dr. Budi Arianto, S.Pd., M.A., and Maya Safhida, S.Pd., M.Pd. This research aims to describe the image of women in the novel The Darkest Side of Heaven by Brian Khrisna. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data source for this research was obtained from the literary work of the novel The Darkest Side of Heaven by Brian Khrisna. This research data consists of parts of the novel's expressions or statements that relate to the image of women in the novel. Data collection uses library techniques. The results of the research show that the description of the image of female characters in the novel The Darkest Side of Heaven by Brian Khrisna includes women's selfimage and women's social image. Women's self-image consists of physical image and psychological image. The physical image of women depicted in the novel The Darkest Side of Heaven is that of an adult woman. Biologically, adult women are characterized by menstruation. The psychological image depicted is based on the psychological state when facing problems from within (family) and from outside (environment). Furthermore, the social image of women consists of the image of women in the family and the image of women in society. In the family environment, she is depicted as an adult woman whose duties are as a wife, mother, taking care of household work, and a woman who can provide for her family.
