Nipah (nypa fruticans wurmb) berpotensi sebagai bahan dasar kosmetik seperti moisturizer. hal ini didasarkan oleh kandungan air yang tinggi dan metabolit sekunder yang ada dalam buah seperti alkaloid, steroid, fenolik, flavonoid, dan saponin. pengujian aktivitas moisturizer terhadap ekstrak metanol daging buah n. fruticans telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat skin moisture analyzer. hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas moisturizer yang diperoleh pada ekstrak metanol, sediaan krim f1 dan f2 berturut-turut adalah 20,58%; 25,76%; 29,42%. hasil pengujian sifat fisik sediaan krim ekstrak metanol daging buah n. fruticans yang diperoleh telah memenuhi persyaratan sni 16-4339-1996. berdasarkan hasil analisis gc-ms diperoleh senyawa dominan yaitu cis 9,12-octadecadienoic acid, i-(+)-ascorbic acid 2,6-dihexadecanoate, dan cis-vaccenic acid. kata kunci: moisturizer, kulit kering, nipah(nypa frut icans), cis 9,12-octadecadienoic acid.



Abstract

Nipah (Nypa fruticans Wurmb) has the potential to be a basic ingredient in cosmetics such as moisturizers. This is based on the high-water content and secondary metabolites present in the fruit such as alkaloids, phenolics, flavonoids, and saponins. Testing of moisturizer activity on methanol extract of N. fruticans fruit pulp has been carried out using the skin moisture analyzer. The results showed that the moisturizer activity obtained in methanol extracts, F1 and F2 cream preparations was respectively 20,58%; 25,76%; 29,42%. The results of testing the physical properties of the Methanol extract cream preparation of N. fruticans fruit pulp obtained have met the requirements of SNI 16-4339-1996. Based on the results of GC-MS analysis, the dominant compounds were obtained namely Cis 9,12-octadecadienoic acid, I-(+)-ascorbic acid 2,6-dihexadecanoate, and cis-vaccenic acid.
