Densitas gulma pada tanaman kedelai merupakan faktor penentu besarnya gangguan gulma. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh densitas gulma ruas-ruas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai. penelitian telah dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan fakultas pertanian dan laboratorium pengelolaan gulma fakultas pertanian, universitas syiah kuala, darussalam, banda aceh, sejak bulan oktober 2023 sampai januari 2024. penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (ral) non-faktorial dengan 7 perlakuan yaitu d0 = 0 tanpa gulma, d1 = 1 gulma per tanaman, d2 = 2 gulma per tanaman, d3 = 3 gulma per tanaman, d4 = 4 gulma per tanaman, d5 = 5 gulma per tanaman dan d6 = 6 gulma per tanaman. peubah yang diamati yaitu laju tinggi tanaman, bobot brangkasan kering tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman dan, bobot biji per tanaman. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa densitas gulma ruas-ruas berpengaruh terhadap bobot brangkasan kering tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, dan bobot biji per tanaman. densitas gulma ruas-ruas sebanyak 3-6 gulma per tanaman dapat menurunkan jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, dan bobot biji per tanaman. kata kunci: densitas, gulma, kedelai, persaingan gulma



Abstract

Weed density in soybean plants is a determining factor in weed interference. This study aimed to investigate the influence of weed density on the growth and yield of soybean plants. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Weed Management Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam, Banda Aceh, from October 2023 to January 2024. The study utilized a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) non-factorial with 7 treatments: D0 = 0 weeds (control), D1 = 1 weed per plant, D2 = 2 weeds per plant, D3 = 3 weeds per plant, D4 = 4 weeds per plant, D5 = 5 weeds per plant, and D6 = 6 weeds per plant. The variables observed were plant height growth rate, dry weight of plant biomass, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, and weight of seeds per plant. The results of the study showed that weed density significantly affected the dry weight of plant biomass, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, and weight of seeds per plant. Weed densities ranging from 3 to 6 weeds per plant resulted in a decrease in the number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, and weight of seeds per plant. This research provides insights into the impact of weed densities on the growth and yield of soybean plants, which is important for weed management strategies and improving agricultural productivity.
