Etnomatematika adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang hubungan antara matematika dengan budaya yang wujud keterkaitannya terlihat pada aspek penerapan konsep-konsep matematika dalam suatu budaya. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep geometri dan konsep dinamis seperti kecepatan sudut dan kecepatan angin yang terdapat pada alat tradisional kolecer suku baduy. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi langsung ke wilayah suku baduy dan percobaan perputaran kolecer. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat konsep geometri pada alat tradisional kolecer berupa bangun datar seperti segi delapan, persegi, persegi panjang, trapesium dan lingkaran. hasil lainnya menunjukkan kecepatan sudut minimum π rad/s dan masksimumnya 8π rad/s, dan kececepatan linier minimum 0,19π m/s dan maksimumnya 1,52π m/s. kata kunci: etnomatematika, kolecer, konsep geometri, kecepatan sudut, kecepatan linier

Etnomathematics is the study of the relationship between mathematics and culture, where the connection is evident in the application of mathematical concepts within a culture. The aim of this research is to understand geometric concepts and dynamic concepts such as angular velocity and wind speed found in the traditional Baduy windmill called a kolecer. Data collection was conducted through direct observation in the Baduy area and experiments with the rotation of the kolecer. The results of this study indicate that there are geometric concepts in the traditional tool kolecer in the form of flat shapes such as octagons, squares, rectangles, trapezoids, and circles. Other results indicate a minimum angular velocity of π rad/s and a maximum of 16π rad/s, and a minimum linear velocity of 0,19π m/s and a maximum of 3,04π m/s.
