Abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh budget participation, budget emphasis, budget goal clarity dan asimetry information terhadap budgetary slack. jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan mengguankan data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada kepala dinas, kasubag keuangan, dan staf keuangan pada satuan kerja perangkat daerah di provinsi aceh. teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sensus dengan 46 skpd di provinsi aceh. metode analisis menggunakan spss versi 27. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budget participation, budget emphasis dan asimetry informationberpengaruh positif terhadap budgetary slack sedangkan budget goal clarity berpengaruh negatif terhadap budgetry slack. kata kunci : budget participation, budget emphasis, budget goal clarity, asimetry information, budgetary slack

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of Budget Participation, Budget Emphasis, Budget Goal Clarity and Information Asymmetry on Budgetary Slack. This type of research is quantitative research using primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to heads of departments, sub-departmental finance officers, and finance staff at Regional Work Units in Aceh Province. The sampling technique used a census with 46 SKPD in Aceh Province . The results of this study indicate that budget participation, budget emphasis and information asymmetry have a positive effect on budgetary slack while budget target clarity has a negative effect on budgetry slack.
