Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan bahan baku optimal dan jumlah penghematan biaya persediaan bahan baku di cv. novira abadi dengan menerapkan model kuantitas pemesanan ekonomis (economic order quantity - eoq). metode eoq dipilih karena bertujuan untuk mencapai tingkat persediaan minimal dengan biaya rendah serta kualitas yang optimal. penerapan metode ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi risiko kehabisan stok yang mengganggu proses produksi, mengoptimalkan penggunaan bahan baku, serta mengurangi biaya penyimpanan dan penumpukan persediaan yang berlebihan. total biaya persediaan yang dikeluarkan cv. novira abadi menggunakan metode perusahaan adalah rp. 242.500.000. dengan penerapan metode eoq, total biaya persediaan menjadi rp. 240.624.708. selisih biaya total persediaan antara metode perusahaan dan eoq adalah rp. 1.875.292, menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan dapat menghemat biaya persediaan sebesar rp. 1.875.292 per tahun setelah menggunakan metode eoq.

This research aims to determine optimal raw material requirements and the amount of savings in raw material inventory costs at CV. Novira Abadi by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model. The EOQ method was chosen because it aims to achieve minimum inventory levels at low costs and optimal quality. The application of this method is expected to reduce the risk of stock outs that disrupt the production process, optimize the use of raw materials, and reduce storage costs and excessive inventory buildup. Total inventory costs incurred by CV. Novira Abadi uses the company method is Rp. 242,500,000. By applying the EOQ method, the total inventory cost becomes Rp. 240,624,708. The difference in total inventory costs between the company method and EOQ is Rp. 1,875,292, indicating that the company can save inventory costs of Rp. 1,875,292 per year after using the EOQ method.
