Abstrak – penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak serangan domain name system) dns amplification terhadap quality of service (qos) jaringan 4g di banda aceh tepatnya di gampong mulia. dns berfungsi menerjemahkan nama domain menjadi alamat ip, dan serangan dns bertujuan mengarahkan pengguna ke situs palsu atau mencuri data pribadi. dalam jaringan 4g, serangan ini dapat terjadi melalui koneksi wireless local area network (wlan), menyebabkan gangguan pada server penyedia layanan dan mempengaruhi kecepatan dan stabilitas layanan internet. studi ini memfokuskan pada analisis pengaruh serangan tersebut terhadap penyedia layanan telekomunikasi populer di indonesia seperti telkomsel, axis, dan tri (3). penelitian ini menggunakan wireshark untuk mengukur dampak serangan dns amplification terhadap qos, dengan parameter seperti delay, packet loss, dan throughput. tahapan penelitian ini meliputi: analisa qos sebelum terjadi serangan, analisa qos setelah terjadi serangan dan analisa perbandingan sebelum dan setelah terjadinya serangan. pengujian dilakukan guna memperoleh data analisis dari serangan tersebut dan melihat bagaimana serangan tersebut mempengaruhi qos. hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan bahwa serangan terhadap telkomsel dengan ip address 36.92.253.149 berpengaruh terhadap penurunan qos dengan nilai throughput download yang semula 30,10 mbps menjadi 28,29 mbps, dengan penurunan sebesar 6,01%. selain itu, serangan terhadap axis dengan ip address 112.215.103.251 juga berpengaruh terhadap penurunan qos dengan nilai throughput download yang semula 17,43 mbps menjadi 15,29 mbps dengan penurunan sebesar 12,3%. kata kunci: dns (domain name system), serangan dns amplification, qos (quality of service), wireshark.

Abstract – This study explores the impact of Domain Name System (DNS) amplification attacks on the Quality of Service (QoS) of 4G networks in Banda Aceh, precisely in Gampong Mulia. DNS functions to translate domain names into IP addresses, and DNS attacks aim to direct users to fake sites or steal personal data. In 4G networks, these attacks can occur through Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) connections, causing disruption to service provider servers and affecting the speed and stability of internet services. This study focuses on analyzing the impact of these attacks on popular telecommunications service providers in Indonesia such as Telkomsel, Axis, and Tri (3). This study uses Wireshark to measure the impact of DNS amplification attacks on QoS, with parameters such as delay, packet loss, and throughput. The stages of this study include: QoS analysis before the attack, QoS analysis after the attack, and comparative analysis before and after the attack. Testing is carried out to obtain analytical data from the attack and to see how the attack affects QoS. The results of the test show that the attack on Telkomsel with IP address 36.92.253.149 has an effect on decreasing QoS with the download throughput value which was originally 30.10 Mbps to 28.29 Mbps, with a decrease of 6.01%. In addition, the attack on Axis with IP address 112.215.103.251 also has an effect on decreasing QoS with the download throughput value which was originally 17.43 Mbps to 15.29 Mbps with a decrease of 12.3%.
